Excerpts from Junjin’s 18th May appearance on SBS 2pm Escape Cultwo Show

DJ: What did your personality use to be like?
JJ: I used to be really lively, to the extent where I was called crazy
I was really really lively, but at that time I experienced those things, as a result my personality changed, and I became quieter.

Although I really hate this change, but from another point of view, those experiences helped me in my life too, that’s how I now live contentedly. I really understood life isn’t easy.

Others often say to me, “You have it going well for you, being a celebrity really makes us envious.” But I don’t really think so. I made my debut when I was still in senior high, and though I went to university I didn’t get to enjoy my campus life, and I don’t get to really hang out with friends.

Some times I’d think about whether I’d be happier if I lived an ordinary life like that instead.

======================================================

DJ: For the next question, pick one of the 4 options. There’s something I’m really bad at:
1. I can’t put faces to names
2. Math, I’m really bad at calculation
3. The food I make is inedible
4. I can’t take a step back

Jin: It’s really #4 for me. There are times when I really should turn back, but I can’t because of my competitive streak. I’ve said before that I’d like to be an athlete if I could live my life all over again, that’s due to my competitive nature too.
Some things can be done simply and casually, but I’ll end up forcing myself and overdo things. Sometimes it helps but sometimes it worsens things. Because of my nature to always want to move forward, I’ve been hurt quite a bit.

DJ: But it seems like the right age to keep on moving forward

Jin: But when I look at my dad, I think I’ll still be like this when I get older (laughs). But I thank my dad for passing on this passion to me.

DJ: Then if you were to pick from the remaining 3 options, how about remembering faces…

Jin: Ah, I’m good at this, I’m good at math too

DJ: What about cooking? Can you cook well?

Jin: Oh I’m not good at that, but… it’s edible (laughs)

DJ: Can your dad cook well?

Jin: Yes, but he doesn’t cook. I’m competitive about things like this too, I’d think that it’s because I haven’t tried it before, if I were to try I’ll do very well

DJ: Then is there anything that you admit that you can’t do?

Jin: Me?… Actually there are quite a lot of things. The sea… I can swim where my feet can touch the ground when I stand up, if I can’t then I can’t bring myself to get into the water. I don’t really like to take the airplane too.

DJ: Then do you swim well? In places where your feet can touch the ground?

Jin: In those places, then I swim well. There was this incident a long time ago, I think it was Love Letter? We had an overseas special and went overseas to film. Singers all have something in common, which is we all have good bodies when we’re resting, but we’ll start losing weight (and the muscles) once we start our activities. At that time I was on a break and my body looked pretty good because I had been working out. At that Jong Kook hyung and the other guys were there too. When we reached the place we all got into the water to swim, and I jumped into the water coolly too. But then I realizes that my feet couldn’t touch the ground and I couldn’t swim anymore, and I yelled for the rest to help me out. It was something that was really not in tandem with my image, but I think it’s normal to be not good at some things too…. I nearly drowned when I was young, after that I really didn’t dare to go into the water.

DJ: I can’t swim even if my feet can touch the ground

Jin: (laughs) I really can’t, I even imagine that sharks might come and bite me

DJ: Then that means diving is out of the question too…

Jin: I trust the oxygen tank… I have a panic disorder, so it’s ok if I trust something, if there’s nothing I can trust, then I can’t do it.

DJ: So it’s ok if you swim in a pool with an oxygen tank strapped on?

Jin: That would work

======================================================

DJ: For the 2nd question – I’ve even done this for love
1. Wrote a love letter to the girl I had a crush on
2. Waited outside the home of the girl I liked
3. Kissed passionately on the streets
4. Searched on the Internet for tips to win her heart

Jin: Uh, #3

DJ: Kissed passionately on the streets, this is after your debut?

Jin: Yes

DJ: Then people might have seen it

Jin: Yeah, things like this… Because I’m an entertainer, people won’t view this in the way they would view regular folks. For example, if my girlfriend is a regular university student, when she looks at me she might sometimes see me as an entertainer too. Even if it’s someone I love, I really don’t like it. For me, I can turn up the music and run to the front of the car to dance, even at a junction where there are people walking around. I just want to express, “This is how much I like you”. That’s a kind of aegyo from me too, I want to make her understand that “So oppa really likes me so much”.

Likewise, because I’m an entertainer, when I’m on stage or when I’ve released an album, I really hope that people can acknowledge and think, “He’s indeed an entertainer, he does have this kind of talents and abilities after all”. But at the same time I also hope for people to see me as a regular person. If I’m under less pressure, everyone will be able to see a more realistic side of me.

DJ: If people were to see us on the streets, it’ll be nice if they pretend not to recognize us, yes?

Jin: That’s right, though I know it’s impossible.. But the most important thing is to be appropriate, if people recognize us it will be good to acknowledge us appropriately

DJ: That would be the best

Jin: For example, when I’m eating in a restaurant, if the customer at the next table says “Junjin-sshi, I’m a fan of yours”, I’d say “Thank you”, and that’s really nice. But sometimes there are people who would say in banmal (informal speech), “Oh Junjin, take a step back and let us take a look!” There are really many people who talk like that. And we, honestly, we can’t possibly put up with it all the time, isn’t it?

DJ: That’s true

Jin: Sometimes it really gets to the stage when it’s too much, wouldn’t it be nice if we can all speak nicely…

DJ: From another point of view, it’s something to be grateful for too – there are many entertainers out there who work very hard but yet when they walk on the streets, no one can recognize them

Jin: Yeah

======================================================

DJ: The 3rd question – It will be great if I can have a news article about this

1. Junjin gets married with his girlfriend 15 years younger (at this point, Junjin exclaims in surprise, “15 years?”
2. Junjin follows in father’s footsteps to become a trot singer
3. Multi-talented singer Junjin becomes a poet
4. Junjin’s martial arts academy is now recruiting students

Jin: #4

DJ:Really? You’ve already prepared for your licences and certifications?

Jin: Ah… Because of my dad, there’s really no sports that I’m not familiar with

DJ: Did your dad make you learn them?

Jin: He did make me learn them, but because I was rebellious I refused to get my certifications, and as I got older many of my friends got the certifications and I didn’t. When I was young I really couldn’t understand why my dad was teaching me to use weapons

DJ: Your dad wanted to make you tougher?

Jin: Yes, and he liked sports very much too. I’ve mentioned this on a show before, that he tied me up with wire when I was young and taught me how to break it. Now I can escape using my fingers, because when I was younger I’ve learnt it, and also how to keep my balance while doing a handstand

DJ: Did your dad need you to take revenge for him for something that’s why he trained you like this?

Jin: I don’t know if that’s the case (laughs heartily)

DJ: I heard that your father wanted to become an entertainer

Jin: Until now he still hopes to be one, because when he was 20 he auditioned for a Chinese-Korean movie production and though he made it through, my grandfather opposed it and he didn’t manage to take part in the movie. My dad wanted to be an action actor, so he always had this regret on his mind. When I first wanted to join showbiz, my dad opposed it too, but after seeing how hard I was willing to work, he agreed. I even broke rocks when I was in high school…

DJ: Looks like even if you didn’t make it in showbiz you could have still appeared on Star King

Jin: Now I’m hoping to be in an action film. Even if I might get injured, but I still like it. Rather than to sit and chat, I’d rather go do some sports. Even after overnight filming and I’m really tired when I reach home, I’d still think, I really worked hard today!

DJ: So if you receive an offer to be in an action film, you would agree I suppose?

Jin: Of course, even if I have to spend a year to train my body to become like Ong Bak. When I did really high kicks on shows like Love Letter, it was to tell the directors, “I can do it, please hire me”.

DJ: I see, so then say something to the directors now then

Jin: Dear directors, there’s someone who’s ready now, please look for me, I’m Junjin. I’m prepared.

DJ: So there’s an actor who’s ready, who will put everything on the line and work hard, directors please don’t look elsewhere, even if the money is not much would Junjin still be willing to do it?

Jin: Of course, money isn’t the issue here, because it’s something I want to do

DJ: Even if you make a loss?

Jin: Yes, of course

DJ: Even if you have to break wires

Jin: Yeah

DJ: Even if you have to break rocks

Jin: Yeah

DJ: Junjin is really determined, a very cool Junjin.

Jin: I’ll be starting on my Asia tour at the end of May, and I’m heading to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and China. I think it’s because of the many people who are supporting me with their attendance that I’m able to go, I really really thank all of you. When I’m back I’ll be appearing in shows and preparing for more great performances to present to everyone. Hope everyone will support me.

DJ: There are many action movie directors overseas too, maybe you can perform breaking wires and rocks on stage

Jin: Yes yes, I have plans for that (breaks into laughter)

DJ: Time is up before we know it, so to end this off why don’t you say something to everyone

Jin: I’m now actively involved in promotional activities after the release of my album, and I’ll be showing everyone different sides of me. I’ll become a hardworking Junjin! Thank you!

[09.05.28] 500 fans attend Eric’s Thailand video screening event

Although Eric (Mun Jung Hyuk) was not present, his video screening event was still held successfully.

Eric is currently serving his military duty as a public service officer, while his video screening event was held in Bangkok on 23rd May.

This series of video screenings started from Japan in February, and went on to China (Beijing, Shanghai), Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand, and is scheduled to end with a screening in mid-June in Seoul.

According to his management company, although Eric is unable to attend the events as he is now carrying out his military service, more than 500 local fans turned up for the event in Bangkok.

At the screening, videos and photos of Eric from his previous activities as well as a video of Eric getting his buzzcut prior to his enlistment enthralled the fans.

With the screenings being so successful in Asia, Part 2 of the screening event will make its rounds around Asia again, to Japan, China, Taiwan and Seoul, from the end of June onwards.

Eric had enlisted for military service in October last year and is currently serving as a public service officer at Seoul Metro.

[09.05.28] Junjin proceeds with Asia tour despite flu pandemic

Despite the spread of swine flu in the region, singer Junjin will carry on with his Asia tour.

The flu has gradually spread through Asia, and although Junjin had received some requests for the cancellation of the performances in China, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, but for the sake of the fans he has decided to stick to the original plan.

In light of the flu pandemic, the concert organizers are considering to cancel the events at the risk of a loss, but Junjin wants to requite the support of the fans by carrying on with the performances.

Junjin’s management company Open World expressed, “To not disappoint the overseas fans who have been waiting all this time, we have proceeded the organizers to proceed as planned.”

Hong Kong will be his first stop on 30th May, followed by 7th June in Japan, 13th June in Taiwan, 14th June in Shanghai, 19th June in Qingdao and 20th June in Beijing.

[09.05.27] Overwhelming requests for reprint of Junjin’s ‘Fascination’

The overwhelming response to Junjin’s mini-album ‘Fascination’ has put him in a tight spot.

According to Junjin’s management company Open World Entertainment who said on 27th May that they have been pressured by retailers to reprint more copies of the album.

Open World said that the ‘Fascination’ album has a high value as a collectible item, it has been limited to 10,000 serialized copies and there are currently no plans to increase production. However the retailers have continued to flood Open World with orders.

As such, the company is now considering the option of producing unserialized copies for regular retail, and not as a special album.

All 10,000 copies of the album – released on 19th May – has been sold out during the pre-order period.

[09.05.26] Viewers reserve their judgement of Andy’s 1st drama appearance in 4 years

Fans are distressed that Andy’s first appearance in a drama after 4 years hasn’t received passing marks from viewers.

On the 16th episode of SBS daily drama ‘Two Wives’, aired on 25th May, Yoon Nam Joon (played by Andy) – younger brother of Yoon Young Hee (played by Kim Ji Young) – returns on a boat from China.

Walking to his parents’ home, Nam Joon is too ashamed to step inside the house and looks at his parents from the outside, who are making flower cakes. His mother says wistfully to his father, “Winter has passed and spring is here, I thought our Nam Joon would be back… Our Nam Joon really likes flower cakes. Don’t lock the door, Nam Joon will be back anytime now.”

Nam Joon then says quietly, “Omma (mother), Aboji (father), I’m sorry. I’ll come back to you looking proper in a while’s time.” After that he went to the auto repair center to look for a friend who had cheated him before. Grabbing the guy by his collar, he said, “You have no one else to cheat so you stabbed your friend in the back?”, and soon disappeared in a red sports car parked at the repair center.

Andy had previously played Kim Min Joon’s brother in 2005’s ‘Lovers In Prague’, and this is his first TV drama appearance after 4 years. Although at the press conference Andy had said that he would do his best to completely transform into the character of Yoon Nam Joon, his performance still comes across as a little awkward. He has received criticism similar to that of Son Tae Young’s initial performance in the drama.

Comments from viewers included: “Andy-sshi, I had high expectations of you but this isn’t what I expected”; “Maybe because it’s still your first time. Hope you will get into character as time passes.”

[09.05.26] Junjin to drop out of events that proceed despite national mourning

Singer Junjin has decided to drop out of all events that carry on despite the news of the death of former President Roh Moo Hyun – at the risk of suffering tangible and intangible losses.

Junjin who kicked off his promotional activities with the dance track “Hey Ya” on 9th May has voluntarily cancelled his promotional schedule out of respect for the former President. For a start, he has informed the event organizer of a Daegu event that he will not be making an appearance.

A spokesperson for Junjin said on 26 May, “We think the time isn’t right to be performing dance tracks. Although missing out on the schedule this week would mean that he’ll only get to perform in the country only in a month’s time, this can’t be helped, isn’t it?”

Junjin will be embarking on his Asia tour from the end of this month onwards, and will not be performing on any Korean music programs for a whole month. He’ll only be seen every weekend on MBC’s Infinite Challenge.

The spokesperson added, “This week, before the Asia tour starts, should have been the time when he’s promoting “Hey Ya” most actively, but as everyone, including ourselves, is having a hard time now, so we’d rather suffer any losses that come along with the cancellation of the schedule.”

Apparently, other singers who are also promoting dance tracks such as Chae Yeon and Lee Jung Hyun, have also cut back significantly on their schedules, choosing to restart activities next week.

[09.05.25] Shin Hyesung: I’m ranked last in terms of appearance among the Shinhwa members

Singer Shin Hyesung attracted attention when he confessed that he’s ranked last in terms of appearance among the Shinhwa members during the recording for MBC Every1’s “The Age of Flower Boys”. “I’m the ugliest among the Shinhwa members.”

In response to Park Myung Soo’s question of “In terms of appearance, how are you ranked among the Shinhwa members?”, Shin Hyesung replied, “I’m at the bottom of the pack. The Shinhwa members are really good-looking.” Lee Ji Hoon, who was also a guest for this episode, then quipped to the amusement of everyone present, “Became good-looking?”

Even so, Shin Hyesung was asked for the reasons behind his popularity with the writers and also why he still doesn’t have a girlfriend, which he answered candidly.

Shin Hyesung also wanted to clear the air about the plastic surgery rumours surrounding him. Lee Ji Hoon said, “Shin Hyesung is constantly suspected of having undergone plastic surgery, especially about his double eyelids.”

He explained, “My double eyelids have multiple folds, and the way my eyelids look has changed due to changes in my body condition. But these days people have doubts because I seem to look different on different occasions.”

This episode will be aired on 26th May at 11pm.

[09.05.25] Junjin: I admit I bear grudges / Lee Jung Hyun: Junjin stirred my heart before

JUNJIN: I ADMIT THAT I BEAR GRUDGES

Singer Junjin has candidly admitted that he’s someone who bear grudges, during the recent recording of SBS variety show YSMM2.

Staff and colleagues who have worked with Junjin before had said, “Junjin would remember even the smallest jokes and pranks, so if you have done wrong to Junjin even once, you have to be prepared for the worst.”

To this, Junjin frankly admitted, “Honestly, I admit that’s really the case. Something like this happened before on YSMM. “

“It was last year during the Olympic stars special on YSMM2, when I lost to weightlifter Lee Bae Young in the vertical jump. Because I lost by a small margin I kept on thinking, “If only I had slept one more hour last night I would have won”.”

Additionally singer Lee Jung Hyun revealed during this day’s recording for the ‘Unforgivable’ segment, “After Junjin and I became friends, there was a period of time when he stirred my heart and confused me.”

She expained the misunderstanding, “There was a time when Junjin was feeling very down and depressed, and we often kept in contact to console each other. Then there was this once when I was out drinking with friends, so I called up Junjin and asked if he wanted to join us for a drink. In the end he took up the invitation.”

She surprised the guests when she added, “When Junjin gave me his autographed CD as a gift, he wrote a profound (?) message along with it.”

Junjin then said that it was to clarify with Lee Jung Hyun any misunderstanding he might have caused, and to everyone’s attention he also spoke about his own feelings about Lee Jung Hyun then.

This episode was originally scheduled to air on 25th May, but has been rescheduled to 6th June due to the passing on former president Roh Moo Hyun.

Including a frustrating movie here.
The two actors do not seem close (have chemistry) at all..ㅜㅜ
What the hell is this.

My first encounter with Motoki Masahiro… was none other than a NUDE PHOTOBOOK.
When I was in elementary school, I saw the nude photobooks of Rie Miyazawa and Motoki Masahiro at my aunt’s home in Osaka.
Back then, though I’m not sure exactly when, according to my aunt, he was the most popular man at that time
Maybe it was a promise I made to myself back then? “I’m going to have one published too…! ㅎㅎㅎ -_-
Anyway, an actor who has acted for a long time isn’t able to coordinate with his co-star……
Ah! Maybe.. I’m the only one who feels this way.. Let’s put it aside then.

In any case, the beautiful scenery of Yamakita and Hisaishi’s music couldn’t make people focus.
After watching the behind-the-scenes video I found that Motoki Masahiro really worked very hard during the filming.
Even when he was promoting the film, he did his best and went all out at the expense of his physical strength.
Yes. I’m thinking “Perhaps it’s because he has tried his utmost best so he exhausted himself, isn’t it?”

One star is for Yamakita. The other star is for Hisaishi.

[09.05.22] Andy returns to drama after 4 years as hotheaded ‘Yoon Nam Joon’ in ‘Two Wives’

Singer Andy’s return to drama has been of much interest among netizens.

4 years after 2005’s “Lovers In Prague”, Andy will be making his first appearance on “Two Wives” on 25th May, Episode 16. Andy had left an impression on viewers when he played Kim Min Joon’s brother in “Lovers Of Prague”.

Shinhwa’s Andy has already appeared in several trailers, and viewers are anticipating his appearance on the drama. He plays Yoon Nam Joon, the younger brother of female protagonist Yoon Young Hee (played by Kim Ji Young). He had started earning money by himself since young to help support the family, and is a character with very strong survival instincts.

In the preview his brother-in-law Kang Chul Soo (played by Kim Ho Jin) decides to divorce Young Hee for Han Ji Soo (played by Son Tae Young). When Nam Joon finds out he heads to Ji Soo’s home and creates trouble.

Andy’s management company told Newsen on 21 May, “Andy will make his first appearance on ‘Two Wives’ on 25th May. He is working very hard on playing his character well. He often feels quite pressured by the impressive acting skills of the senior actors such as Kim Ji Young, but they have given him a lot of guidance so he’s able to feel more relaxed when he’s acting.”

“In order to portray Yoon Nam Joon perfectly, Andy is also taking acting classes. The writers have also written the script such that the character fits Andy’s own personality very well. He finds out about his brother-in-law’s infidelity and goes on an exciting rampage. Viewers will get to see other sides of Andy in future.”

Andy himself said at the press conference for the drama on 28 April, “I hope everyone can appreciate a different side of me.”

‘Two Wives’ tells the story of a man who loses his memory after a traffic accident on the eve on his 2nd marriage, his ex-wife and his new wife-to-be.

[09.05.21] Showbiz Time Machine: Shinhwa on 21 May 1998

shinhwa at shanghai concert

Let us fly back into the past on the time machine for a moment and see what happened in showbiz this week back then.

In the entertainment industry with its endless talking points and controversies, the stars are still passionately active on the scene, and people are still curious about their updates.

21 May 1998
▶ With successive hits, ‘idol group’ Shinhwa receives much interest

There isn’t any idol group left that has survived as long as Shinhwa. All the members are enjoying great popularity, and are still moving on with their activities in full blast.
Being a newcomer group back then, Shinhwa had a string of hits and received much attention and interest as a young group.

Group leader Eric, together with Junjin, Kim Dongwan, Lee Minwoo, Andy and Shin Hyesung attracted attention for their avant-garde looks and hairstyles.

[09.05.21] Junjin “intends to collapse on stage”

Between breaking rules and self-restraint… “A big kid”
You can see from the dance tracks with intense beats… A style that we see only from ‘Junjin’

Junjin has returned. Junjin has recently released his mini-album titled ‘Fascination’. Through his unique style he completely demonstrates his competitive streak. The song where Junjin has given his most effort is the title track. His performance of “Hey Ya!” gives people the feeling of “knowing how to play on stage”. Recently when we met Junjin in the waiting room for a music program, he was unable to contain his excitement about his new stage performance.

“When I released “Wa” I considered whether it would be popular with the masses. This time round it’s done in the style of what I want to show. Restraint can be sexy too. Not only do I want to show powerful stages, I’m trying to show everyone that there are dances that slowly captivate you.”

To Junjin, this album is very special. Since he appeared in “Infinite Challenge” and “We Got Married”, his popularity has soared. That’s why he has to let everyone see that the Junjin in variety shows is different from the Junjin on stage.

After meeting songwriter Kim Tae Hyun, who also penned Ivy’s “Sonata of Temptation”, “Hey Ya!” with its strong beats was born. And with the increasingly popular Son Dambi featuring on the song, it became even more of a hot topic.

Everything seems perfect. The only problem would be his health condition. Junjin recently injured his wrist and even his toe due to tetanus. Even in the waiting room this day, he continued to receive massage to ease the pain. Even so, when he went on stage, he turned into the “Dancing Machine” again. Putting the pain behind him, he is now preparing to meet the overseas fans. At the end of this month he will embark on an Asia tour that will take him to Japan, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

“I’m preparing very hard for the performances. Pain is secondary. Even if all the people around me try to persuade me until their throats go dry, even if I collapse I intend to collapse on stage. (smiles) This is how I am, isn’t it.”

[09.05.20] Dongwan’s memolog: For DSLR beginners.

transcript from poster:
DSLR – A digital single-lens reflex camera (digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera that uses a mechanical mirror system and pentaprism to direct light from the lens to an optical viewfinder on the back of the camera.

The Rollei 35 – The Rollei 35 is a 35mm miniature viewfinder camera built by Rollei. The original Rollei 35, when presented to the public at the photokina in 1966, was the smallest 135 film camera ever. Even at the present day the cameras of the Rollei 35 series remain the smallest ever built mechanically working 35 mm camera. During a time spanning 30 years of production, the total number of cameras of the Rollei 35 series made, is about 2 million pieces.

And the ‘Canon Oil’ incident is because Canon cameras have recently been found to be leaking camera oil, and the response given by the aftersales service center is simply to “wipe it off”, frustrating even staunch Canon supporters.

—————————————————————————————-

I want to talk a little about Canon~
For the reason, just search for “Canon Oil” in Naver and you will see it..

I didn’t think of Sony DSLRs in particular, but the Carl Zeiss lens is a great merit!
Recommending Sony for beginners! It fulfills both sensitivity and convenience~

I’m spending a lot of time with my new friend~

P.S.My new friend~

[09.05.20] Junjin’s mini-album jacket is so full of highlights that it’s “no different from a photobook!”

[main_junjin.jpg]

Shinhwa member Junjin’s limited edition mini-album ‘Fascination’ has finally been unveiled.

Released on 19th May, ‘Fascination’ is now available for sale in stores, and this special limited edition of ‘Fascination’ is only limited to 10,000 copies – which had already received an overwhelming response during pre-orders.

Known for being a fashionista in the music scene, Junjin has adopted the concept of the retro 80s New York vintage street style for his album jacket, making it feel like the pictures were really taken in the streets of New York. The resulting pictorial series has really excited the fans.

This time, each album also has a unique serail number which can be used to take part in an event where 50 lucky fans will get to attend a special dinner with Junjin.

Junjin will also be kicking off his Asia tour next week.

[09.05.18] Overwhelming response to Junjin’s mini-album ‘Fascination’

[main_junjin.jpg]

Shinhwa member Junjin’s new mini-album ‘Fascination’ has met with an explosive response even before its release on 19th May.

The mini-album ‘Fascination’ is slated for release on 19th May, but the quantity of pre-orders has far exceeded the production quantity, and the management company has received many enquiry phone calls to increase production.

Especially for the fans who have been waiting a long time for this album, Junjin’s gift to them is limited to only 10,000 copies, making the album even more valuable to the fans.

Currently before the offline release of the album, the pre-orders have already exceeded 10,000, and there aren’t sufficient copies of the albums to be allocated to the retailers. Though it’s a fact that there has been demands for increased production, his management agency has said, “There won’t be any special edition to increase the production quantity.”

Junjin has released the MV of his new song ‘Hey Ya!’ via GomTV on 16th May, and the video was extremely well-received, with more than 150,000 views within 30 minutes.

[09.05.18] Lee Minwoo, Amy call it quits (edited)

I know whatever the reason is, they both made a mutual decision on it. its just hard to hear this sort of things happen.

M will hop back right in, I have much faith in him
----------------------------------------------

One of the most closely watched celebrity couples, TV personality Amy and Shinhwa member Lee Minwoo, have recently been confirmed to have split up.

A source close to the couple broke the bad news on 15th May, “They broke up early this month. They have experienced big and small conflicts since this year, and in April their relationship really deteriorated so in the end the both of them made clear their intentions with each other and reached a mutual understanding to end the relationship.”

He briefly explained the reason behind their split, “Just like in the cases of normal young couples, the difference between their personalities was the biggest reason.”

He added cautiously that the couple had went through a considerably hard time before deciding to split, and also that Amy has been suddenly hospitalized. “Amy has been hospitalized twice this year at the Soon Chun Hyang Hospital near her home. Overworked by TV appearances and her online shopping mall business happening at the same time, the mental toll of being apart further aggravated her health problems.”

Amy and Lee Minwoo began dating in real life after filming KBS2’s “Happy Sunday – Kkokko Tour” together in September last year, and the couple’s admission to the public about their relationship had created a big stir in the entertainment world.

Amy first appeared on cable channel O’live’s “Bad Girls’ Diary” last year and since then she has developed a thriving career as a TV personality and also recently moved into the apparel business.

Shinhwa member Lee Minwoo released his 4th solo album “M RIZING” last fall, will soon resume showbiz activities with his upcoming new album.

[09.05.16] Dongwan’s photolog: behind the scenes PHOTO by SeungYeob

While organizing the trip….

I definitely like the countryside
It’s not that age has set in.
Since young I’ve liked the smell of the countryside, even the smell of cow dung. I think Kangta said he likes the smell of cow dung too.. ^0^
But the important thing isn’t about cow dung..
Ah! There is no smell of cow dung in Iwate! Why is this the case!
I suddenly thought about it!!! No then how do they plough all those fields!!!!! Oh oh oh! It’s weird!
Hmm…

Whatever it is
You can better feel the existence of the Japanese people in the Japanese countryside.
In fact you can still see many friendly, careful and diligent Japanese people.
The streets are clean and retain much of the old customs.
Maybe because many foreigners have come to Tokyo these days,
It’s different…. Somehow it feels like the people in Seoul. ㅜㅜ
And for some reason Tokyo to me
Just has memories of work and having annoying shopping itineraries, tiring drinking sessions.. Phew.
This trip is really great.
It’s a trip with no jam packed schedules and just two people with a slightly lazy lifestyle.
It was really relaxed.
Though it was embarrassing everytime my dongsaeng (younger brother or junior) and I sat face-to-face in coffeeshops sipping tea.

That morning for some reason the rain seemed to have stopped,
So when we went on the Shinkansen we left our umbrellas behind.
In the end we had to make do with umbrellas from the convenience store that elementary schoolkids use while we took photos.. ㅜㅜ
Looks like I’m quite amazing. A Korean with a strong will!

The sake seller ahjosshi with a really nice smile~
Looks a little like Ji Jin Hee. ㅋ
We kept on sampling…. He kept on smiling~~^_^
Sorry for not buying.. ㅜㅜ
(This part reminds me of his Manwon Happiness when he went to the supermarket to sample from all the food stalls… HAHAHAHAHHAAHHAdd ImageA)

The water is Lake Tazawa is really clear.
Just like the sea.

Coming back from Japan there’s something I’m really envious of.
Rather than to replace the old with the new, there are traces of efforts to preserve ancient artifacts in its entirety.

Little Buddha statues.

Discovered a really delicious okonomiyaki shop in Roppongi!!!! The chefs are F4~ ㅋ
Film camera maniac Seung Yeob who suffered from fatigue after following my itinerary when he returned to Seoul~

Discovered a really delicious okonomiyaki shop in Roppongi!!!! The chefs are F4~ ㅋ
Film camera maniac Seung Yeob who suffered from fatigue after following my itinerary when he returned to Seoul~

The ramen here is really delicious!!!
It’s in Ginza, can I find it again!!!???

That day my head was feeling very hot…
I should have taken off my beanie.
I’m going to get a haircut.

Actually it was lonely in Tokyo.
After seeing Seung Yeob off first I roamed around by myself and saw the cold buildings of Shinjuku..

I really like the countryside!
When I’m able to go again, it will be Kyushu~

P.S.
Lastly, Nakamura ahjosshi and Dongwan ahjosshi
