[10.06.17] Dongwan’s memolog: How to use time. (updated)

An update on one of his older posts…

One.

You have to pay attention to the quality of sleep.
Most animals spend a much longer time being asleep than awake.
For example, pandas and koala bears are only awake for 4 hours in a day, for the rest of the time they are sleeping.
Human beings sleep about 6-7 hours a day and work for more than 10 hours a day..
In order to remain active while you’re awake you can’t slack on the quality of your sleep!

The recommended method for sleeping is that you must be asleep between 23:01 and 01:03.
[This is the sleeping time recommended by Western doctors and traditional Korean doctors.]
It’s good if you’re lying in bed anytime from 11pm onwards and before 1am.
Sleeping on time for 5 hours, compared to sleeping for 8 hours from dawn onwards, is better for health.
Try it and you’ll know it~

Fix your own rules for drinking.
The culture that prevails in Korea is to ‘eat til you die’.
Which means ‘If I drink til I die then you must drink til you die too’.
How wrong can this behavior be….
Drink selfishly.
Drink only when you want to..
Drink only as much as you want to.
Because since time immemorial, in order to be healthy one has to work out a plan and follow it…

There’s no way to use time.
Just a few months ago I believed that we can use time.
From the moment we know about time we have already become enslaved to time.
Peace of mind can be achieved with a good night’s sleep,
And although drinking is something unpredictable…
I believed I could control it.
It took only a few months for me to realize how ignorant I have been~ ㅎ
There’s no way to use time.

What the age of individualism means is that it’s an era where it won’t do if you don’t establish your individuality
Before falling in love or getting married.
Establishing your individuality means that having the ability to sustain yourself financially.
You can’t have spiritual independence without financial independence.
In advanced countries, independent women like actresses and models are preferred.
In short, no one bothers about women who are foolish.
Foolish women are not those who didn’t do well at school.
It’s those women who are unrefined, boring to talk to, do not come into contact with music and culture,
Have no curiosity and have ahjumma mindsets.
It can’t be helped, just like there are more and more rotten men
There seems to be more and more women who can’t do anything right.

[10.06.10] Dongwan’s photolog: Madrid – Sol

Although my original itinerary included 2 days in Madrid,
I was so charmed by Gran Canaria that I was about to cancel the trip to Madrid.
But because there were no other flights back to Seoul beside late night ones~
I ended up having an unintentional stopover in Madrid to sightsee~
But it seems that it would have been better to cancel. I just… felt as if I was at Myeongdong…-_-
(Myeongdong is a popular shopping district in Seoul)
It didn’t impress me like Canaria did, but anyway here’s a travel sketch of La Puerta del Sol~^^

I was looking the whole time and because I was so amazed I looked for a long time~
Looking at the photo it seems like a short guy wearing big clothes…ㅎ
But the eyes seemed to be starting through the glasses, scary.

The hind leg, after curing, is sliced thinly and can either be eaten on its own or as a sandwich.
At first I didn’t like it because of the smell, but it was part of the hotel breakfast every day so I tried a little of it.

[10.06.10] Dongwan’s photolog: The last night

The last night in Las Palmas..ㅜㅜ
Seung Yeob’s parents brought us to a seafood restaurant.

But I had the steak samgyeopsal again and I wiped it out.

Thanks to Seung Yeob’s parents who took us out for Korean food and meat once a day and showed us great hospitality throughout the trip! ㅎㅎㅎ

Im Tae Woo, Lee Seung Yeob who were suffering from my dragging them around.

A Korean family with a 8-year-old kid turned up at the restaurant.
He called out my name loud and clear and greeted me.
I was really amazed when I discovered the secret… His mom had written it for him…ㅋ
