[08.08.22][trans] Introduction to songs on Shin Hyesung's 3rd album

1. Live and Let Live
Composed by Vink / Arranged by Jung Gu Hyun
Live and Let Live, also the title of the album, will show Shin Hyesung making a foray into unchartered territory as he challenges himself with a different image and different musical genres. This intro will naturally lead into the next song Awaken and showcase the different themes on the album.

2. Awaken
Composed & Arranged by Vink / Lyrics by Frog
Written by singer-songwriter Im Hyung Bin (Vink) of rock band N.E.X.T and formerly of Wittgenstein, this song will best be able to define the new style of Shin Hyesung on his 3rd album.

This track - a mix of alt-rock and emo-rock - shows a side of Shin Hyesung that no one has seen before, with his strong and powerful, yet dreamy voice. The track also features N.E.X.T members Kim Se Hwan and Lee Soo Yong on guitar and drums. With a strong show of his powerful vocals....this is a song where you can completely experience a different kind of charisma from Shin Hyesung.

★3. Because of You (title track)
Composed & Arranged by Vink / Lyrics by Yoon Sara
The title track of the album, it was written by Vink - who also wrote the magnificent and mysterious Island for Shin Hyesung's 2nd album, and also the electronica-infused Voyage on Shinhwa's 9th album. This song has a dreamy accompaniment, combined with Shin Hyesung's sorrowful delivery, Yoon Sara's beautiful lyrics and a catchy melody.

The style of the song leans towards Britrock, with a tinge of pop in its melody coupled with a strong guitar riff, and looks set to become one of the classics.

4. A Good Day to Love（Duet with Honey Lee）
Composed & Arranged by Ha Jung Ho / Lyrics by Ha Jung Ho
This retro-funk duet is written by Ha Jung Ho, who also penned FTTS Brian's Don't Go and Lee Ji Hoon's Sorry My Heart. Amidst the retro-funk beats of the song, a string arrangement is apparent in the middle of the song. Shin Hyesung and Miss Korea Honey Lee sing out the beautiful melody and lyrics of the song about a couple deeply in love.

5. Urban Fever（Feat. Showgun）
Composed & Arranged by SoulShop / Lyrics by Wheesung
SoulShop - comprising Lee Chae Gyu and Lee Jong Hoon -who have also written Jewelry's Everybody Shh and songs for Lyn, Wheesung, Wanted and Baek Ji Young, are the masterminds behind this track. The track is a combination of retro-funk beats and electronica, featuring the charismatic vocals of Shin Hyesung. Singer Wheesung penned the lyrics for the song.

Rapper Showgun (Park Jang Geum), who has previously featured on MC Mong's album, also lends his rapping skills to the song, adding to the cheerful atmosphere of the track.

6. Waltz
Composed & Arranged by Vink
A skit with a strong rhythm, this track leads into the next song with its cute waltz beat and melody.

7. Love Actually（Feat. Vink）
Composed & Arranged by Vink / Lyrics by Frog
With its unique rhythm, the song is about a love at first sight experience, relaying the message of love and emotions with its lyrics and melody. The cute lyrics and rhythm will make it even more memorable.

Composer Vink also raps for the first time on this track, and with a catchy melody, the song is dedicated to all who dream of love.

8. Peter Pan's Serenade
Composed & Arranged by Song Kwang Shik / Lyrics by Song Kwang Shik
New age pianist Song Kwang Shik, who has not only released his own piano instrumental album, but also on Kangta's solo album, drama soundtracks and musicals, has written a jazz-infused track for Shin Hyesung's 3rd album.

The big band arrangement with brass and strings, together with Shin Hyesung's sweet voice, will leave a deep impression on listeners.

9. Promise（Duet. Yurisangja's Park Seung Hwa）
Composed by Park Seung Hwa / Arranged by Jung Hoon / Lyrics by Jung Hoon
Written by Park Seung Hwa of Yurisangja, the mid-tempo track features an acoustic sound. Park Seung Hwa also features on the track together with Shin Hyesung, presenting a seamless harmonious chemistry. Their voices blend perfectly, and the song gives the listeners a different kind of duet featuring 2 male voices.

10. Sequelae
Composed & Arranged Kim Jae Suk（Wanted） / Lyrics by Choi Shin Won
Written by Wanted member Kim Jae Suk, who also wrote the beautifully sad ballad Just One More Time for Shinhwa's 9th album, this is the only R&B track on the album. Coupled with Choi Shin Won's beautiful and melancholic lyrics, and a magnificent backing orchestra, the song tells of a heartbreaking love story.

11. Awaken（Inst.）
Composed & Arranged by Vink

[08.08.22][news] Eric: I've achieved all my objectives for Strongest Chil Woo

Actor Mun Jung Hyuk (Eric) shared his thoughts about the filming of KBS2 drama Strongest Chil Woo at the wrap-up celebration party on 20 August at a restaurant in Yeouido, where he expressed his sense of satisfaction about the drama, "It seems that all the goals I set for myself at the beginning of the filming have all been achieved."

Eric said, "This was my first KBS drama, and my first sageuk drama, that in itself I've already accomplished two goals."

"Actually, as I have a recurring back injury, I already declined several projects as I was thinking that I should try doing other things rather than to aggravate the injury. But the people around me encouraged and motivated me."

"If I decided to rest because it was getting tough, I think it would have become more difficult for me if I rested any longer. When we first started, my back was giving me trouble. But after the training, I can now do simple stunts like horseriding. It feels good."

Eric then talked about his three wishes when he agreed to take part in the drama, "I hoped for health, I hoped for my spirits to be lifted and I hoped for the people who have supported and protected me all this while will be happy."

"Before we started filming I said that I hoped for the ratings to hit 15%, and although it was the Olympics and other reasons that helped us to achieve that, but we achieved that goal anyway. My back is getting better too. An average of 11%-12% of Korean viewers were tuning in, and although I can't say I'm 100% satisfied but yes, we've achieved what we set out to do."

Not exactly without a tinge of regret, Eric added "I did hope for more support for the drama. Although we can't say that there was a consistent review of whether we did well or not, but it's good that no one was hurt by the remarks. Although the results were less than desired in Korea, but I hope that it will do better overseas."

Eric also talked about his post-filming plans before he enlists for military service, "Firstly we'll be going on a short trip together. (Jeon) Noh Min hyung can't join us because he has to start on his new weekend drama, but the rest of us are planning for a short vacation together."

[08.08.22][news] Dance singer/variety star Junjin impresses with new ballad

Singer Junjin has impressed with his new ballad from his new repackaged album released on 21 August. In September, Junjin will start his next round of promotional activities with the title track from his repackaged album, The Words of Love. Fellow Shinhwa member Eric features on this song on rap, while Monday Kiz's Jinsung features on the chorus. This ballad fully demonstrates the bassy magnetic quality of Junjin's vocals.

Junjin's first single back in 2006 was the ballad Love Won't Come, which already demonstrated his flair for ballads. However he had to abandon his activities halfway due to poor health. He hopes to make it up this time with The Words of Love. Although he had considered continuing to work on another dance track after the good response to Wa, he decided that he wanted to let another side of him come through, thus choosing the ballad as his next single.

Junjin has earned himself the nickname of Junstin Jinberlake during his promotional activities for Wa, clinched a spot on the Infinity Challenge team as the 7th member, and has been active in the dance genre and the variety show circuit. He now expands his scope of activities with his image as a ballad singer.

He will be holding a fanmeeting in Japan on 26 Aug, and also a solo concert in Seoul's Melon AX Hall on 5/6 September.

[08.08.20][news] Eric: Those abs aren't mine

The hero of KBS2 drama Strongest Chil Woo (which ended on 19 Aug), Mun Jung Hyuk, has revealed that the washboard abs shown in the drama are not his.

On 19 August, the cast of Strongest Chil Woo joined a group of Japanese fans in Gangnam, Seoul, to watch the last episode of the drama. When asked by the fans, "In the drama, the abs that we saw during your transformation into an assassin, are they CG effects?", to which he said, "It's definitely not CG."

However he soon added, "The last episode has aired anyway, I'll tell you the truth. In actual fact, during the filming, we actually found 6 substitutes with very good bodies, but in the end we found a suitable substitute among our stuntmen instead. To the 6 kind people whose help we requested for, thank you very much."

Besides the Japanese fans, many members of the media were also present to spend the evening with Mun Jung Hyuk.

With regards to his thoughts about the filming process, he said "It is with the hard work of the cast and the filming crew that we managed to finish filming the drama. Everyone has worked really hard, thank you very much."

When asked about his relationship with co-star Gu Hyesun, he commented "Actually before Hyesun dressed up as a man for her character, we were still very polite to each other and still using formal language, with little interaction. But once she got into her male disguise, she really looked like a pretty boy, and when I saw her all I wanted to do was to give her a knock on her head. So I asked her if I could do that. After that we got more comfortable with each other, and we started to speak informally to each other. Now she's just like my little sister."

The last episode of Strongest Chil Woo garnered its highest ever ratings of 14.7% (AGB), and the drama is expected to start airing in Japan soon.

"For Shinhwa, even if we wanted to disband, we can't."

Eric Mun Jung Hyuk talked about his thoughts about the fans' fears of Shinhwa disbanding at the post-filming celebration party of KBS2 drama's Strongest Chil Woo, held on 20 Aug at Yeouido.

Eric said, "Shinhwa can't disband even if we wanted to. Until the day when everyone starts to say that we should retire, Shinhwa will not disappear."

He added, "Right now the members are focusing on their solo activities, and it looks like the direction now is more of solo activities, and not group activities. This doesn't mean that Shinhwa is disbanding, it's just Shinhwa moving on to greater heights."

"Until the day everyone starts to say "Isn't it time for Shinhwa to retire?", there will be no possibility of disbanding. Shinhwa doesn't just belong to us, it belongs to the fans and the public who love us. For them, we will not disband."

He joked, "Shinhwa has the honor of being Korea's longest running idol group, it will be such a pity for us to give up now. If we go on, we'll continue breaking records, won't we?"

Eric will be enlisting for military duty in October, and prior to that he has planned for a short trip with his close friends.

[08.08.21][news] Eric was "planning on a 1N2D trip with Lee Eon"

Model/actor Lee Eon's death has come as a sudden shock to the Korean entertainment industry.

27-year-old Lee Eon, whose real name is Park Sang Min, passed away in a motorcycle accident in the early hours of the morning of 21 August, after attending a post-filming party for Strongest Chil Woo. The motorcycle he was riding apparently rammed into a guardrail of the overpass in Hannam-dong and was reportedly to have been killed instantly by the impact of the crash.

His fellow cast members and crew are still in shock and unable to come to terms with the reality of his death as they had just been together with him a few hours before the fatal accident,

His Strongest Chil Woo co-star and good friend Eric had mentioned in an interview on 20th Aug, "We have made plans to take a short vacation together after we finished filming the drama. The najangs and the assassins have gotten very close during the course of the filming and we're looking forward to a short getaway."

Eric's manager said, "It has come as a complete shock to Eric, and he hasn't been able to come to terms with the news yet. They were still spending time together past midnight until Lee Eon left the party earlier at about 1am." Upon receiving the bad news at about 3am, Eric rushed to the hospital immediately.

On the other hand, the parents of Lee Eon, their only child, had rushed to Seoul from their home in Busan and reached the hospital mortuary at about 8.40am. His mother was understandably in a state of shock and disbelief. "Why did you bring me here? It's not right, I want to go to his hospital room, I don't want to be at the funeral parlor. I just saw Sang Min (Lee Eon) over there."

Lee Eon's close friends, colleagues from modelling and the cast and crew of Strongest Chil Woo will be attending his memorial service scheduled for 23 August.

Eric of KBS2's Strongest Chil Woo is in extreme shock to learn of his co-star Lee Eon's death in a motorcycle accident. Eric received a message from his manager at 4am on 21 Aug that read "Lee Eon has passed away...we have to get to the hospital."

According to Eric's manager, the cast of Strongest Chil Woo were at a post-filming wrap-up party at a restaurant in Yeouido since 6pm on 20 Aug, and Lee Eon stayed with everyone and only left at 1am.

Eric's manager added, "At the party Lee Eon kept on smiling and laughing, going around to thank the crew members who had worked very hard for the drama."

"Lee Eon used to be a DJ at clubs and was very interested in music, and he often chatted with Eric about music as well. Everyone was in such high spirits at the party and to receive such news now, it's unbearable."

Eric's manager continued, "Eric is usually very quiet and shy, but he kept in close and frequent contact with Lee Eon, and they have gotten as close as brothers."

27-year-old Lee Eon was riding his motorcycle on the elevated roadway in Hannam-dong when he crashed into the guardrail. He is said to have died on impact.

Lee Eon made his debut in the movie Like A Virgin, and made his foray into television in 2007 in the MBC drama Coffee Prince. He had just recently concluded the filming of KBS2 drama Strongest Chil Woo with Eric.

--- Our users wonder who created "Wa" choreography?

JunJin: He has been the choreographer of not only me but also Shinhwa.

--- To compare flying solo with being Shinhwa's member, what has changed?

JunJin: Well actually my "powerful" image was sticked with me in the past. Now it has changed in the sense that I'm not going to force myself to live up to that image but rather being the real "me" with other characteristics that one can approach easily.

<>

--- What do you think about the original concept of comic arts, as it happened to use your nickname "Junstin" for a lot of comic books.

JunJin: I think it should not be a big issue. I have to thank them for the idea and the effort.

--- Actually I heard some not so good news about your health situation. Many fans are worried about the tight schedule you're working under.

JunJin: In fact, due to the busy schedule, I've not paid proper attention to health care. But I don't neglect it. Excercising is helping me to recover quickly. And I'm trying to get adequate sleep and meals.

--- Since Shinhwa's time, the fans have known about your bad eye sight. However recently, due to the "right eye blindness crisis" provoked by the press, people are really worried. Please tell us about the current state of your eyes?

JunJin: My right eye sight is actually worse than my left. But not the extent that it can cause blindness. I think the journalists misunderstood the situation when the doctor told me if I didn't mind, I should take some rest at the hospital.

--- Recently, your new program Mnet "High school girls 4" has become a hot topic for online discussion. How do you feel after the 1st shooring? The age difference and the four troublemakers must have given you a hard time?

JunJin: Initially, I was pretty panic. "How should I deal with those children?". But as time goes by, I feel more parental responsibility with them, perhaps not as a father, but as a brother to my sisters. The children have their own dream and they are not bad in nature, so we are all working towards better change. Anyway, please give the program a lot of attention.

--- The 4 high school girls rude behaviour has suffered extreme criticism and
a lot of fans even asked for the program to be stopped. We really wonder how you feel about the situation?

JunJin: It's still early in the broadcasting. For me, that's the whole program I have to think ahead. I understand that the controversial scenes may create extreme reactions, but just for a short period of time, we cannot expect the high school girls to rehabilitate. It must take a proper time. And to put yourself into parents's position, it's never an easy task to take care of your children. And parents won't turn their back to the children because they are not behaving in a good way, will they?

--- In MBC program "Golden Fishery", you disclosed about the eye cosmetic surgery. Many users are concerned about your health. May it be risky to take the surgery and how was your company's idea?

JunJin: In the past, the company would manage everything, but these days, they have little intervention in my decisions. I decided to ask my doctor indeed and got decent advice.

--- Our users agree that you are the best choice for MBC Infinity Challenge 7th member. Do you think that it went well?

JunJin: All the time, it's about being funny and passionate. Perhaps I'm the best fit, don't you think so ? *laughs*

--- How have you changed since the 1st appearance in IC ?

JunJin: More busy apparently. *laughs*. This month, I honestly don't have a day to rest. However, with the steady working and learning process, I have developed my skills and matured to some extents. If you feel happy then your body will not feel tired.

--- Isn't it surprising that just after the 1st guest appearance in IC, you were offered to be their 7th member?

JunJin: When Haha went to military, in order to fill in the space left, IC invited many guests and tried to find the right one to be their 7th member. I just happened to be one of the guests. But since the "Money bag" episodes received good reputation and also the members and I share a very good relationship. Therefore those may be the reasons for the consideration.

(*Kim: at the time of this interview, Jin was not officially confirmed as 7th member of IC yet*)

--- In your opinion, what is the best IC episode that you have joined?

JunJin: Well for me each of them generated different feelings and experiences. It's up to the audience to have their own favourite.

--- Netizens gave you "Junstin" nickname, but that's not the only one. You are also called "IC youngest craziness", "Million stones", "Heavenly eyes", and "JanJin". Which one do you like the most?

JunJin: I actually like them all, but "IC youngest craziness" is my most favourite. It kinda gives me the sense of belonging. *laughs* The sense of unity within IC's family.

[08.08.20][Trans] JunJin Interview with DCNews - "Come up to me!" [Part 1]

5 hours 20 minutes ... until the Department of Art's rising star JunJin could manage a meeting with us. The interview took only one hour but JunJin also promised a longer meeting next time. From his forehead to the neck flowing the sweat, he smiled looking at the burst of flashbulbs and fixed his microphone. With such a huge popularity gaining from various online programs, TV shows, and music performances, the singer admitted "Don't have a proper day to rest in these busy days", and that is not a lie.

After the ceremony held in the Grand Ballroom at Seoul Hyatt Hotel on the 13th, the title "A1 Korean Ambassador" could be added to meet him. The popular singer modeled the new designs of "Il Sang Bong fashion", receiving a lot of applause for the hot catwalk as well as the last performance of "Wa", finishing promotional season of that song.

JunJin's popularity nowadays is attached with the nickname "Junstin Jinberlake". His stage performances for the title song "Wa" in May with the distinctive hairstyles and exceptional costumes have caught the attention of netizens. The audience related him to US pop star Justin Timberlake, hence, the nickname "Junstin Jinberlake" was born. His stunning shows are making a boom over the internet and the dancing moves have been imitated countless times by both netizens and other celebrities.

Idol JunJin was once member of the legendary group Shinhwa. This year besides the mark of 10th year from the debut time, his solo album also generated a new wave of success and popularity. "Junstin Trend" floods the media, but many people still want to discover his inner side.

Name: JunJin (Park Choong Jae)
Occupation: Singer
DOB: August 19, 1980
Affiliation: Group Shinhwa
Agent: OpenWorld Entertainment
Family: Father Charlie Park
Debut: Shinhwa's 1st album in 1998

--- What do you think about "Junstin" craze over the internet and the media? You seem to acknowledge that, I can see from various interviews you have done. How do you feel about the impact of that nickname?

JunJin: Teenagers's creativity is unpredictable, isn't it? *laughs* I think that's a very intelligent way of nicknaming, and it has made good effect. The burden remains with a strong image of an old idol while allowing a closer and more friendly approach to new audience's generation.

--- If so, I think you are aware of the existence of Milwaukee Mile. Have you ever visited there ? *Kim: Milwaukee Mile is DCInside, a digital camera site, a "Trend setter" in Korea, which allows users to create and exhibit their photo galleries.*

JunJin: Yes, I know about it. But in fact, I don't often surf the internet these days so I'm not much aware.

--- Then do you know about the Shinhwa's gallery? Shinhwa's fans users left there their cams pictures and they asked me to ask you about that.

JunJin: I haven't heard of it, I haven't gone inside that gallery. Well ... webcam pictures ... I will visit it when the opportunity comes in the future. I'm not going to give you the answer now but I will when time comes. Tell them that so that they won't get angry of you because of breaking the promise.

--- Sexy pop star JunJin, do you know that your nickname "Junstin Jinberlake" was the inspiration for a popular comedy cartoon gallery created by MM's user?

JunJin: Oh. This is the first time I heard about that.

--- I just want to ask about the female artist who seeded the idea of your nickname. The netizens previously mentioned SNSD's members who involved themselves in a scandal by making fun of your "Wa" moves.

JunJin: Oh, I know about that. It had been mistaken.

--- MBC's program "Golden Fishery" was the first program in which you were asked about Junstin Jinberlake. Frankly, the first time you heard the nickname, how do you feel?

JunJin: Well I heard the of that nickname the first time in my office when the staffs showed me the article mentionning it. How did I feel? Honestly, I just think it came from a friendly idea. But I will soon have a chance to perform on stage as "Junstin Jinberlake" this 23th August for Mnet 20's Choice Awards. Perhaps from the moment you see it until the end of the performance, you cannot take your eyes off the stage. *laughs*. You can expect it to be good, so please pay attention.

--- Recently, you song "Wa" has been imitated and remixed and used for various intentions. How do you think about that?

JunJin: I actually saw "Wa" danced by other people. At first glance, I thought "Wow, that's pretty good.". I think the remixed versions are tolerable.

--- Until now it's just the "title" so it's alright. If a person within MM composes parodies using that name, would you mind?

JunJin: Well I haven't directly seen the content of the gallery. I think I'll look at it with the transparent mind without thinking it was me. *laughs*

--- How is the reaction of Shinhwa's members and surrounding people about "Junstin" ?

JunJin: Well, everyone thinks it's fun. Members are also very interested. *laughs*

[08.08.20][trans] Ceci Sep 08 - Good Bye Mun Jung Hyuk

What a pity, yet another gorgeous actor is about to enlist for military duty. We're already missing Gong Yoo's cute dimples and Sung Shi Kyung's sweet voice. Now we're about to lose Eric with his beautiful eyes to the army too, where's the fun in that? We should hold a "Protect The Gorgeous Men" protest in front of the City Hall.

When I saw Eric's minihompy, I laughed for quite a while. When my editor told me that "we might be doing a photo spread for Eric", I quickly opened my Internet Explorer to find out more recent news about him. I typed in "Mun Jung Hyuk" and "Eric" in the search field, but that only led me to the minihompy of 오빠야 (oppa yah). Oh my god! The owner of this minihompy is 오빠야....

The waiting time of 3 months was really too long, and when I was about to give up, Eric's management finally said OK to the photo spread. I chuckled nervously. I was going to meet the Shinhwa member most well known to be a prankster, the 4th dimensional idol to his fans, Mun Jung Hyuk. It was shocking, but it was going to become reality.

Eric only finished the filming for Strongest Chil Woo in the wee hours of the morning, and when he rushed over to the studio from Mungyeong he was looking really tired. As his hair is usually in a topknot for his character, he came without getting his hair styled, and he puffs away on his Marlboros with stubble lining his lips and chin.

What should I say to him? What if he isn't nice?

Approaching his 30s, he is already an Asian star. (Just as he often says, "Back from the Asian tour!"). When I reach the studio, I pace up and down nervously.

"Eric, that's the expression!"

He opens his eyes, "Huh? This painful expression? Eii~" (with his thumb pointing downwards). His tone lightens up. "It's a little awkward, but I'll do it."

He takes a step backwards. Compared to seeing him yawn and stretch, I can see his face more clearly now.

Suddenly I remembered his comment in another interview, "Don't be arrogant, be confident, and pray everyday." Unlike my unease, Mun Jung Hyuk is honest and straightforward. The photographer instructs him to put on his jacket, take it off, smile, blink. He follows the instructions accordingly and it wasn't hard to see that he's humble with a great attitude.

"I wanted to enlist after the 10th anniversary concert, but I really like the script a lot so I decided to work on it. Strongest Chil Woo is a drama that I really wanted to be in, even though it's my first sageuk drama and it's stressful. I watched related movies and dramas and tried to learn from them. When I start on a role, I want to do my best and completely immerse myself into the character. Of course I'll feel sad when it's over but I did my best."

"The date of enlistment hasn't exactly been fixed, but if there's some time after filming ends, I'd like to do something before I enlist. It will be great if I could meet the fans up close. I'll like to go to Busan since many fans are in Busan."

"How do I feel about enlistment? I've been asked about this a lot. If that's the question, I feel bad about it. As a male citizen of Korea, it's only right to serve the country. I feel bad having to delay enlistment due to work schedules. When I get back in 2 years' time, I'd like to perform my best in both acting and music. Aren't I 50% Mun Jung Hyuk, 50% Eric? Just like always. I'll be putting all this on hold for a while, but I'll work hard and prepare to come back as a better Eric and Mun Jung Hyuk."

[08.08.20][News] JunJin - Meeting Variety's show Freshman

I suddenly remember that this guy is now also a freshman - Variety show's freshman, JunJin.

Let's move forward to Performing Arts and enrol as a freshman. Until recently, he has worked as both a Shinhwa's member and a solo singer, but he won't stop at that. The idol singer is attacking MC's fortress. He said when he first appeared in IC to replace Haha, he didn't think that he could become the 7th member. I agree that it seemed a bit inappropriate, like "Oil and water".

But how about now? Rather, the concept of "Oil and Water" is not anymore screwy. Not so long ago, when I was watching IC Olympics Special, I felt there was something slightly lacking. Among the existing IC members, JunJin is far better reputable as a perfect athlete. But he has merged himself into the abnormal atmostphere. He hasn't abandonned his gorgeous style, the eyes, the postures, but still formed a unique harmony with all the best and most original laugh-makers of Korean entertainment industry. One more point to add in, he made us laugh hard!

Yes. This person is always moving forward. Anyone in the industry who has ever worked with him says they can clealy feel his sincerity and passion. So what about the world believing in the stories of him being a playboy and drinking alcohol like a joke? Against all odd, his passion for TV shows is seriously not a joke. This is the new JunJin that we could only dream of. So eager as a freshman, he's ready to beat any challenges.

I was in the waiting room when JunJin was in the recording studio with other members. From outside, while preparing for the interview questions, I thought perhaps I could ask him for some Junstin's credit dances, which have become a "brand name" these days. I looked at him through the glass windows and asked myself if that was the JunJin who just joked around with us the journalists this morning. Those lively eyes became the distinctive eyes through which we can see his serious attitude.

Before the interview, the reporters had a short talk with JunJin's manager. He showed us a handbook with JunJin's schedule inside. We couldn't help but exclaiming in shock: "Oh dear ... Is he human? Will he not fall?" I was thinking ... an amateur working as a full-time? Then this is his real job. I just don't want to see JunJin eventually fall over his tough schedule and overwork.

However, our performing arts's freshman has set for himself a strict rule of never being late for work no matter what. After the recording, the production team asked him the question everyone wanted to ask: "How can you not be sick?" The answer would never be told, JunJin just replaced it with his innocent smile.

I always remember the first time I saw him. That was during the rookie debut of Shinhwa. Everyone knows Shinhwa members are very handsome. But this person, he was the one who gave me a strong impression and so far that first impression hasn't been changed. Now I'm going to meet him again. He's moving towards here. The right JunJin that I can't help but to fall deeply into his passionate, sincere and determined eyes.

I can read in the eyes of the Man I'm going to interview his message: "I'll be a real MC. Seriously!"

An interesting 'love line' is developing between Junjin and Seo In Young, the 2 MCs on Yashimmanman Season 2, where viewers saw Junjin praising Seo In Young and paying extra attention to her throughout the episode broadcast on 18th Aug.

Unfortunately Seo In Youn was paying more attention to fellow MC Nic Khun and guest Oh Ji Ho to return the attention to Junjin. Nevertheless Junjin continued to pile the compliments on her, calling her "cute and sexy", leading the other MCs to comment that Junjin really "seemed to like Seo In Young", to which Junjin replied, "You noticed it?"

MC Mong then asked Seo In Young to choose between Junjin and her on-screen husband Crown J, only to have her deftly change the subject. MC Mong then said "Are you trying to test my fellow Up/Down brother Junjin?", to which she replied with a loud "Yes", much to the laughter of the studio guests.

[08.08.19][news] The countdown to Shin Hyesung's 3rd album begins

Having released his 2nd album, 'The Beginning, New Days' a year ago, Shin Hyesung is now back with his 3rd album where he finally gets to experiment with the different kinds of musical genres that he's been wanting to.

His 3rd album will consist of 2 parts: Side 1 where Shin Hyesung challenges different musical genres; and Side 2 where he returns to his trademark ballads.

He will first release Side 1 - Live and Let Live, featuring different genres like alternative, Britrock, swing, and big band. Side 2 will focus on ballads, and will likely be released in December this year.

The title track, Because of You, was written by singer/songwriter Vink of the rock band N.E.X.T and former member of Wittgenstein, who had previously written Island from Shin Hyesung's 2nd album. Together with lyricist Yoon Sara, this song - which is very appropriate for a magical autumn experience -was born.

Other artistes such as Wheesung, Yurisangja's Park Seung Hwa, Wanted's Kim Jae Suk, 2006 Miss Korea Honey Lee have also participated on this album, making each song special in its own right. Park Seung Hwa wrote and featured on the track Promise, and the harmony will be something different from the usual style of Yurisangja.

Shin Hyesung said, "Like its title - Live and Let Live - the 3rd album aims to change my image of a ballad singer and I will challenge different musical genres in a style unique to Shin Hyesung. I'm more nervous than ever and I know that the expectations from the fans will be very high too. I went about making this album with my best efforts so that I wouldn't have any regrets after that. [08.08.19][news] Strongest Chil Woo wraps up filming despite bad weather

Despite having to compete with the Olympics broadasting concurrently, KBS2 drama Strongest Chil Woo finally wraps up filming of the last episode in poor weather conditions.

More than half of the filming for the drama was done outdoors in the sweltering heat that went above 30 degrees Celsius and in torrential rains, causing frequent delays and cancellation of filming. The filming of Episode 20 late last week wasn't any different. The filming schedule had to be pushed back due to the rain and the cast members falling sick as a result. However, the cast and crew pushed on despite the obstacles to put in their best until the end.

A spokesperson from production company Olive9 said, "There were many outdoor scenes and it was tough for the cast and crew in such bad weather conditions. We've basically wrapped up filming, which was really tough in the heat and rain, but everyone was in good spirits, though with some sadness, to finally finish the filming of the drama.

The last episode of Strongest Chil Woo airs tonight at 9.55pm on KBS2.

JunJin's arrival at Beijing's airport ended up to be a mess that needed to be controlled by Chinese policemen.

On July 18th, 10AM (local time), JunJin and MBC "Infinity Challenge" shooting team arrived at Beijing airport for the special Olympics program.

As early in the morning, more than 300 Chinese fans were waiting for the singer and they totally blocked the entry to the airport. The fans who were looking forwards to celebrating JunJin's birthday tomorrow in China filled the site with screams and cheers.

The problem became serious when the fans tried to touch JunJin when he was walking in the middle among other IC members. 300 fans messed up the entry and almost caused a big accident.

JunJin then had to be separated from the IC team and left the airport under the guard of official policemen.

Some hours later during the meeting with NewsEn reporters, JunJin said: "Suddenly when the fans rushed out steadfast I was very worried. However I really appreciate that and hope no one got any kind of injury due to the incident."

[08.08.18][diary] GOODENT Director Lee's Cyworld entry

This was taken a few days ago at the risk of my safety when I drove past North Gangbyeon Road ^^

Sunset tends to give people a very surreal feeling.

I'm now listening to the final mixed version of HS's 3rd album Side 1 as I write my diary entry
(I'm definitely not trying to make all of you angry ^^)
The last step in the production process is just to handle the master tape.

Most albums usually require one or two mixings. But we probably did about 8 mixings for the title track for the 3rd album.

Awaken, Fantasy, Propose, Waltz etc... These are the introductions to the songs in the 3rd album....
Some of these names are the actual titles of the songs... Some have nothing to do with the songs

The purpose of making this album is to make music.
Just like what a critic once said... In a market where style and trends are the focus, we just want to make music.

No extravagance... the meaning of music and things like these.

We just want to be able to let everyone hear every single sound that is contained within a complete song.
Including what they call the world's most perfect musical instrument, the human voice, as well as the piano, the guitar, the bass, the drums, the brass instruments, the strings, the vocal backup voices etc.
Although the mixing now isn't 100% satisfactory
But I can say, that I personally feel that we're almost at the level that we had hoped to achieve... ^^

From next Tuesday onwards, complete information about the 3rd album will be released.

At that time everyone will understand the meaning and significance of Side 1 and the title of the album.

Everyone will be able to know more about the style of the album, the songs, the album jacket, the MV and the promotional schedules from the GOOD website and news articles.

During the recent holiday, a certain TV station went ahead to release a video of the album jacket photoshoot....

It was probably a welcome surprise for everyone, but that disrupted our plans a little. That was all because my oversight.

Probably by next week you will be able to see the album which we have put so much effort into preparing.

Everyone will probably be very excited to open up the album, or to listen to the album via the music websites....

My personal recommendation would be... to listen to the title track while you're in a travelling car watching the sunset

I assure you that it will be a moving moment

For the first few times you have to enjoy HS's voice... I know more than anyone else how everyone is looking forward to hearing his voice...

After that I'd like to recommend everyone to listen carefully to the guitars, the drums, the bass, the piano, the brass instruments, the vocal accompaniment and everything else that makes up the songs...

You will be able to understand the reasons behind my recommendation.

If someone asks you "why are you listening to the same song over and over again"
Please use the phrase that we have popularized... "Leave me alone... I just feel like it" ^^

We're almost done with the preparations.

Maybe you might see HS singing the title track from the new album earlier than expected.

So from Tuesday onwards, please look out for news about HS....

I'm getting very excited too... ^^

[08.08.15][news] The gathering of pioneer idol group members on Come To Play

The upcoming 18 August episode on MBC's Come To Play features the "Comeback of the Kings" special, and members from the pioneer idol groups of the late 90s/2000s make their appearances on this special episode.

On 13 August, at the recording for the show at MBC's Dream Center at Ilsan, H.O.T's Moon Hee Jun, Sechs Kies' Eun Jiwon, S.E.S' Eugene, Fin.K.L's Ok Ju Hyun, G.O.D's Son Ho Young and Shinhwa's Kim Dongwan were all present to share their stories for the theme "Back Then".

From the late 1990s to the early 2000s, these idol groups shared some of the most intense rivalry in the music industry. A decade later, members sat in the same studio to tell of interesting anecdotes of their lives as idol group members, their debuts and things they weren't allowed to do.

Particularly in the Golbang (alcove) Talk segment, we see the guests teaching the dance steps to their hits; talking about moments they wanted to leave their groups; how they try to outshine their own members; and how rivalry between groups got so intense that they almost fought.
