Photos showing a pre-Shinhwa Junjin had the MCs and guests of MBC variety show ‘Introducing Stars’ Friends’ explode in laughter, with his corny ‘apple’ hairstyle.
Actor Philip Choi had brought along photos featuring Junjin and himself during their younger days, as members of a dance group, for the recording for the 11th April episode of the show.
He said, “Before I made my debut as an actor, I was part of a 3-member dance group called Junior Republic. At that time Shinhwa member Junjin was one of the members too.”
In the photos, it was difficult to see any traces of how Philip Choi and Junjin look now very different from the way they look now, and drew attention for their young expressions and poses.
Philip Choi added, “Before Junjin joined Shinhwa he was part of the group, but he left the group eventually.” The MCs then commented to the amusement of the guests, “Junjin may have caused the group to disband but it was a wise choice.”
