The knee injury that’s first and foremost on all our minds - he didn’t show any signs of pain. I don’t know if he took a jab or if he was just bearing with the pain, but in any case everything went on smoothly and safely today, so I guess that’s a relief too.

Back to the concert - compared to yesterday’s show, the key highlight for today is - guest appearances.

There were no special guests yesterday but today 2AM came by and sang 2 songs (JYP artistes are really vocally talented). But Singer Shin got a little jealous because everyone clapped and cheered really loudly for these 4 juniors… So we had to clap and cheer even louder for him and he gave us a satisfied smile… *sigh*

But there was another guest, and he was the highlight after the string of ballads! I’m sure everyone would have heard of Lee Mun Se, even if you’re not very familiar with him, you would have heard Shinhwa’s version of ‘Red Sunset’, and the song was also covered by Big Bang… This is the original singer, who’s a veteran sonbae (senior) in the industry

When he appeared on stage, everyone stood up and gave him an overwhelming reception that didn’t pale in comparison to HS. Of course HS was even more grateful to Lee Mun Se sonbae for turning up, and he looked positively happy to be singing together with him, which reminded me of the time he performed with Kim Gunmo sonbae, and it felt really great.

We all know HS’s talents as a ballad singer but yesterday and today, he really hyped up the atmosphere to a high, close to that of a rock concert - singing, jumping and screaming with the fans, runnning across the stage, headbanging with the bassist. I think it’s clear how Side 1 has helped him and how HS can managed all kinds of genres.

There was a part where he was singing during the remake segment, and everyone was listening intently to him when he covered his mouth with both his hands and started blowing into what seemed to be a harmonica and the lovely strains of the harmonica came over the speakers

As we were all listening suddenly Singer Shin put his hands down and struck a pose… But the harmonica kept on playing… And the fans burst into laughter. Just imagine the combination of the fans’ laughter, the gentle music and HS striking a corny pose…

For the Q&A segment…

Yesterday’s Q&A were:
Q: Have you been living by yourself all this time?
A: Of course I’m staying alone… Although I like to stay neat but as all guys who stay alone would know, cleaning is really a hassle etc…

Q: Which other singers’ songs do you like?
A: There are many singers whose songs I like, and I’ve been working on rearranging my own songs too etc…

Q: Has any Shinhwa members moved you to tears before?
A: The members are all great, and we have lots of fun when we rehearse together… Everyone has moved me before, so I’m grateful for that etc..

For today:
Q: You look happy these days, are you seeing someone?
A: I look happy because of all of you are here etc… (He basically skirted around the question and avoided answering it kekeke)
Q: If you were to make a confession to someone you like, what kind of song would you sing to her?
A: Peter Pan’s Serenade…

‘Boys Over Flowers’ has been really popular, and there was a funny VCR where HS edited himself into scenes from the drama, replacing Kim Hyun Joong’s character Yoon Ji Hoo, and he even played the violin looking really princely…

His rendition of ‘You Raise Me Up’ was perfect today, and I think the lyrics of the song reflected his own thoughts… It’s already a touching song, and even HS said he would tear up when he hears the song… Hehe…

There was a support event today too. During ‘Why Did You Call’, everyone held up a little white banner and waved it while singing along. HS must have been surprised to see that because he missed the first line of the song… And during ‘Same Thought’ everyone held up a white electric candle each and the atmosphere was really romantic with the lights sparkling like stars

When he finished with the encore song, he came back on once again with the band to bow and thank the audience… then he waved to the fans and gave us a thumbs-up…
