Known as the honest guy in the entertainment industry, Lee Minwoo admitted to all the rumours about his love life for the past 10 years on MBC program "Park Kyung Rim's Wonderful Outing". His straightforward character impressed everyone on the set.
During the first few years of Shinhwa's debut, Lee Minwoo was rumored to be dating Sharp's Seo Ji Young. According to the rumors, they were in a relationship for a period of time before Seo Ji Young left him for actor Ryu Shi Won. This caused a great deal of outrage among his fans. At the end of 2004, the friendship between him and actress Shin Ae developed into love, but there were often rumors of them breaking up. This relationship supposedly ended after one and a half years.
On "Park Kyung Rim's Wonderful Outing", during the "True or False" segment, Lee Minwoo said, "There were rumors about me dating Sharp's Seo Ji Young and Shin Ae."
When MC Park Kyung Rim started to discuss this sensitive topic, Lee Minwoo said, "They are people whom I have loved before. It's true."
He added, "When the rumors were being spread, I was even more upset when I saw them getting hurt." Park Kyung Rim then asked, "Isn't it even more difficult for you since your ex-girlfriends are also in the entertainment industry?" To which Minwoo replied, "Now we're just ordinary friends. Rather than to break up hating each other, I prefer to part amicably."
Lee Minwoo said his character is such that he can't bring himself to end the relationship, so he usually waits for the girl to bring it up and talk about it. Lee Minwoo's romantic side is clearly displayed on the program, which will be telecast on 2 Nov, at 5.50pm.
