Singer Junjin, whose popularity as a variety entertainer has been increasing, has made clarifications regarding the delay of his enlistment for military service.
Although he had already received the notification letter for military enlistment last year on 7th October, he had postponed his enlistment date by 4 months to 28 February this year, after which he further postponed the date to October instead. Junjin had recently received the army medical check-up, and is scheduled to enlist at the 306th Reserve Corps in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do. However due to personal reasons, he has delayed his enlistment date again.
During this period of time, with regards to military service, Junjin has expressed the view that “It’s a process that all Korean men must experience”. However, as a member of popular MBC variety show ‘Infinite Challenge’, and the fact that he’s currently promoting ‘Like A Fool’, his follow-up single from his mini-album “Fascination”, it’s difficult for him to make the decision on when to enlist.
A rep from Junjin’s management company said, “The change in date could have been due to his numerous projects on hand right now.”
