[09.10.10] Excerpt on Shinhwa in Jin Taehwa’s interview: Shinhwa is just like family to me

Seems that Taehwa – Minwoo’s pick for Battle – has moved on to Live Works (i.e. Hyesung’s new management company), which now also manages Sunmin as well… Check out Taehwa’s homepage HERE.

Being in the same management company as Shinhwa, Jin Taehwa had the honor of being part of a group that had been dubbed “The 2nd Generation Shinhwa” and he says that Shinhwa has influenced him greatly.

During the preparation for his solo debut, he studied Shinhwa’s performances and Shinhwa members such as Shin Hyesung and Lee Minwoo were very generous with their advice and guidance.

“Actually there’s a difference of about 10 years in age between myself and the Shinhwa hyungs, and even though we were in the same company it still wasn’t easy to overcome that. But during the preparation for my solo, they have been really friendly and kind to me and now I really have the feeling that they’re just like my family.”
