[09.10.21] Andy to hold his ‘Adieu’ concert in Japan in December

Singer Junjin (real name: Park Choong Jae) will be enlisting for military service tomorrow on 22 October.

At 1pm on 22 Oct, Junjin will be reporting at the Nonsan Military Training Center for a 4-week basic military training course, before being deployed as a public service officer. He has been graded Level 4 at a military physical assessment some time ago.

On the eve of his enlistment on 21 Oct, Junjin is spending a quiet day with his family. According to a rep from his management agency, “We only know that he’s with his family today. He hasn’t had his hair cut yet, but he’ll be getting his hair cut tomorrow morning before heading to Nonsan.”

According to the rep, “Junjin will work hard to fulfill his responsibilities. After the 4 weeks of training, he will focus on serving his duties.” Junjin will reach Nonsan before 1pm, bid a simple farewell to his fans before reporting for duty.

Junjin had previously postponed his enlistment date on 2 occasions. Originally scheduled to enlist in Oct 2008, he delayed the date due to personal reasons to 28th Feb, after which he applied for the date to be postponed again due to health reasons.

Having made his debut with Shinhwa in 1998, Junjin has remained active as a singer and has been well-loved by fans for a long time. Born in 1980, Junjin is known for his powerful dance and performances.

Junjin started on his solo singing career with the single album ‘Love Won’t Come’ in November 2006, and has gone on to shine in variety programs, most recently as the 7th member on MBC’s ‘Infinite Challenge’.
