Singer Junjin (real name: Park Choong Jae) has received his draft notice to enlist for military duty on 22 October, but as his current physical condition is not good due to a back injury, he has put in an application to postpone his enlistment date. The final results of his application will be announced on 19th Oct.
A rep from Junjin’s management company told Newsen over the phone that, “It’s true that Junjin has received the draft notice for him to enlist on 22nd Oct, but owing to his current physical condition he has applied for the enlistment date to be postponed. The MMA (Military Manpower Administration). He has submitted the medical report and records and we’ll hear of the MMA’s final decision on 19th Oct.”
Junjin has already postponed his enlistment date twice prior to this. Having received the draft notice last year to enlist in October 2008, the date was pushed back 4 months later to 28th Feb 2009, and then further delayed to October 2009 due to health reasons.
