[09.10.15] Junjin awaits final decision after applying for enlistment date to be postponed

Singer Junjin has received the letter of notification informing him to enlist for military duty on 22nd October, and though he has applied for the date to be postponed, he has yet to receive a reply.

With his scheduled wrist surgery and other concerns in mind, Junjin has already applied for his enlistment date to be postponed. The MMA (Military Manpower Administration) is currently reviewing his application and the final decision is likely to be announced tomorrow.

After a physical examination, Junjin has been categorized as Grade 4 due to his chronic back pains, and he is also planning to have surgery on his injured wrist before enlisting.

When informed of this development, the team behind MBC’s Infinite Challenge seemed to be somewhat surprised.

A close aide of Junjin said, “If his application is successful, he will continue to stay on the show; if not, he will enlist on the 22nd. That was what was conveyed to the production team, it seems that there might have been some misunderstanding on the part of the media.”

If Junjin does enlist on the 22nd, the filming done today on the 15th will be his last session for the show.
