To maintain the booming popularity of Korean pop culture, also known as Hallyu, several Korean pop stars toured around Asia, this summer.
They are also hoping to expand their fan base to other regions, including the United States.

Music fans the world over prepare to meet Korea's pop sensations up close and personal. Riding the Korean Wave, pop singers here, are looking to make a breakthrough in overseas markets.
This summer, many of the country's pop icons are staging concerts to entertain fans across Asia and as far as the United States.
The six-member boy band Shinhwa is a case in point.
Their popularity continues to grow, outside of the country.
Just last week the group held a concert in Shanghai, where around 10,000 Chinese fans turned up.
Organizers say tickets were sold out since May.
Next stop for Shinhwa?
Thailand.
After that the band expects to hold concerts elsewhere in Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan, within this year.
In a related note -- YG Entertainment, a music production company, is said to be planning a world tour for a number of its musical talents.
On the lineup is the male soloist Seven, named Favorite Korean Artist at this year's MTV Awards in Bangkok.
The company's summer tour will touch down on at least six countries, including the United States.
