Multi-entertainer Junjin will be departing ‘Infinite Challenge’ prior to receiving surgery on his spine.
Junjin’s pre-enlistment medical examination had revealed that his tailbone needs to be operated on.
Prior to this Junjin has been active on various variety shows despite suffering back pains, but according to the results of the medical examination this time, it seems that surgery is now required.
A source close to Junjin said, “The date of the operation hasn’t been fixed but it should be around the end of September to early October. As he needs to recuperate after the operation he will not be able to participate in his variety activities, and as such, it’s inevitable that he will have to leave Infinite Challenge.”
A source from MBC also said, “We received a notice from Junjin’s management that he can’t help but to leave the show due to his back pains. Though we’re sorry to hear that, we hope he can recover quickly. The spot vacated by Junjin will be filled by Gil and subsequently Haha who will return in February next year.”
