Andy’s ‘2009 Andy Adieu Concert in Asia’, which began in Taiwan in November and moved on to Japan on Christmas Eve, drew to a successful close in Shanghai on 26th December.
During the concert, Andy showed off his masculine charm with ‘Single Man’, and his cute and lively side with ‘Only You’ and ‘Your Luv’. His popular hits ‘Propose’ and ‘Love Song’ underwent new musical arrangements and allowed the fans to experience the songs in a whole new way.
He even performed Yutaka Ozaki’s ‘I Love You’ and ‘Peng You (Friend)’ in Japanese and Chinese for the respective concerts, much to the fans’ delight. To show his gratitude to the fans, Andy read out a letter that he personally wrote for the fans, and turned the concert hall into a sea of tears as fans were moved by his words.
The 3-hour concert went on late into the night, but fans were reluctant to leave and chanted Andy’s name continuously before he came back onstage with 3 more songs. With that his unforgettable gift to the fans was complete.
Especially in China, fans followed Andy closely to the restaurant and the hotel, a clear testament to his popularity and also his status as a Hallyu star with his string of successful concerts in Taiwan, Japan and China.
