After a fanmeeting in Tokyo on 18 Dec, Eric went on to hold another fanmeeting in Hyogo on 19 Dec. Tickets to both fanmeeting were completely sold out, which only goes to show Eric’s undiminished popularity despite his 2-year hiatus.
During the 2-hour fanmeeting, Eric gave a short introduction to his upcoming drama ‘Poseidon’ and its cast. “The drama will be aired early next year.For a human drama and love story, there are many exciting scenes such as us jumping into the sea.” (Erm… Okay… LOL you dork)
He also gave the fans a sneak preview of a song that’s featured on his upcoming album.
The new 4-member girl group that Eric is producing for also made an appearance at the fanmeeting with a dance track. Member Lee Seul also performed a song with Eric on rap.
After seeing the video messages from members Shin Hyesung, Lee Minwoo, Kim DOngwan and Junjin, Eric said, “All of us will be meeting up on New Year’s Eve. And we’ll have our 15th anniversary concert once Minwoo finishes with his military service in 2 years’ time.”
He added, “It’s been 2 years since I’ve last been to Japan, and thank you for giving me such a big welcome. It’s a pity that the other Shinhwa members couldn’t join me here, but I’ll try my best to come and meet the Japanese fans as often as I can.”
“You won’t have to wait another 2 years for the next meeting.”
Eric will be returning to Korea on 20 Dec to work on the drama and his album.
