"Just talking about our 10th anniversary makes us feel that we are blessed guys."
Shinhwa was shooting the MV for their 9th album on the afternoon of the 19th. The MV, set against the backdrop of Mexico, features the 5 members trying to rescue Eric who has been held hostage by a rival gang.
The face-off scene fully shows the members at their masculine best, and though the members haven't got together in a while, they carried on the filming amidst fun and laughter. In this Mexican-styled setting, the members were all specially styled with interesting clothes and hairstyles, attracting everyone's attention.
Eric said, "Fortunately I'm playing the hostage, so I have a smaller part. I'm proud of us being the longest-running group, not 8 or 9 years, but 10 years. I'm glad to be able to have these 10 years before I enlist."
Interestingly, meeting the members on location, everyone said "It's unbelievable that it's already been 10 years, but we feel blessed." They have not dropped any member in this fiercely competitive environment, and they're happy and contented to have walked through these 10 years together.
Shinhwa will be releasing their 9th album to commemorate their 10th anniversary, and will be holding their 10th anniversary concert on 29/30 March.
