With the 'State of the Art in Shanghai' concert being held on the 8th, the start of Shinhwa's Asia-wide tour, selling out completely Shinhwa revealed that they would show themselves working at their hardest to repay the Chinese fans overwhelming love.

Furthermore, Shinhwa told the press of how this Asia-wide tour combined with their Korean activities was a new challenge for the longest running group Shinhwa. On this day's press conference the six Shinhwa members were flooded with volleys of question after question, and one Chinese newspaper journalist even gave out a business card that said "I love Shinhwa! Jung Pilgyo Jjang" to Shin Hyesung, showing the heights of Shinhwa's immense popularity.

The explosive interest of the media and fans began as soon as Shinhwa arrived at Shanghai airport on the 6th. In order to see the few seconds of Shinhwa arriving in China, over 1500 Chinese fans flooded the airport breaking the guard-lines momentarily making chaos. China's police force who had 50 bodyguards on standby in case anything like this occured designated 2 bodyguards to each member and the members were then able to get out of the airport. Furthermore, fans followed Shinhwa all the way to the hotel they were staying at and the hotel even turned on Shinhwa music as a welcoming gesture, so for the length of time Shinhwa was in accomodation, all were able to enjoy their music where ever they were in the hotel.

Shinhwa said smiling, "It is a very different feeling to when we performed in a joint concert with some other singers in Shanghai 4 years ago." Shinhwa continued to express their gratitude, "At the time, the airport staff did not know us very well so when we arrived at customs they treated us a bit scarily but this time as soon as we arrived everyone was so nice and even asked us for autographs for their family" and "We sincerely thank all the Chinese fans for their interest."

After concluding their Shanghai concert, Shinhwa will continue their Asia-wide tour with Korea's Busan, Thailand's Bangkok, Singapore, Japan's Tokyo and Osaka and many other Asian countries.
