Shin Hyesung, “Shinhwa is originator for using ‘~e yo’ as intro

Recently, boy bands and singers are trying to use some catchy phrase to introduce themselves to others. Regarding this, Shin Hyesung said, “The originator for catchy introduction came from Shinhwa” which created much attention.

During an interview with mydaily, Shin Hyesung said, “Many singers raise their hand outwards and said out their name with ‘~e yo (I am~)’. This kind of introduction is similar to Shinhwa who started with ‘Urineun Shinhwa Imnida” (We are Shinhwa).

He explained, “When Shinhwa is releasing our 7th jib, members were thinking of introducing ourselves using an interesting way, therefore after much discussion we decided to use this method. We are a little embarrassing when we first started used it however after much change, it turns out amusing.”

Recently, Super Junior and singer cum broadcaster, Bum also raised out their hands out front, shouting out ‘~e yo’ in their introduction. Especially Bum who used it during the ‘MBC Section TV’ program during the interview which created topic and this become his patent.

Shin Hyesung said, “Members have many interesting and weird ideas therefore our activities were never bored. Maybe it’s because this introduction is simple and effective therefore many people are using it”, he then smiled.

Shin Hyesung will be releasing the Seoul and Japan concert tour DVD in both Seoul and Japan on the November.
