A crew member said, “Although we have to cut down on production fees, we still have to see our national team in action. It’s unfortunate that the selection is being done in Japan, and that the strike is still ongoing.”
The broadcast union strike has been ongoing since 26th Dec, with many MBC employees participating, including many crew members from IC. However the cast is still travelling to Nagano from 7th to 11th Jan with minimal crew members.
IC has created several talking points in 2008 when they focused on less popular sports with its Olympic special, and the Aerobics special. The bobsleigh challenge aims to create more awareness and attract more investment for the lesser known sport.
