[09.01.10][News] Junjin begins work for new album next week

Singer Junjin, who has been especially active in variety shows recently, will start work on his new album from next week onwards.

Junjin is preparing for a comeback in March with his new album, and will devote most of his time to preparing for the album. As such, he has announced his departure from SBS variety show Yashimmanman and will now appear on only MBC’s Infinite Challenge and MBC sitcom He’s Coming.

A spokesperson for Junjin said, “Due to his overseas activities, he often has to miss filming for YSMM, and he feels very bad towards the production team. He has chosen to leave during the revamp of the show and concentrate on his album instead.”

He added, “We’re targetting the comeback to happen in March, and we will start the song selection from next week onwards. Although the concept of the album hasn’t been decided, but you will see Junjin back on stage soon.”

“However, as his enlistment date is drawing near, we have not decided if it will be a single or a full album.”

Junjin had said in October last year that his enlistment date has been delayed to February this year. His management company hopes to be able to postpone the enlistment date to allow for his music activities, but if that is not possible, they will be releasing a single or a mini-album within the short timeframe instead.
