[08.04.03][news] Shinhwa releases limited edition and regular edition of 9th album

Popular group Shinhwa will be releasing their official 9th album on 10 April after releasing 50,000 copies of their Special Limited Edition 9th album on 3 April.

GoodEMG said, "This album comes 1 year and 10 months after their last album in May 2006.

Shinhwa's Special Limited Edition 9th album includes an A4-sized photobook and a special hologram with a serial number ranging from 1 to 50,000. Prior to its release, the album has already garnered a lot of attention from fans.

This album includes 10 tracks such as title track RUN, Free Style #1 written by Eric, We Can Get It On. All the members participated on the background harmony of the tracks.

The title track RUN, a special collaboration between Lee Minwoo - who has recently been very active as a producer - and Eric, is exactly like its title, that allows people to feel the forward-looking passion of Shinhwa in the past 10 years. The uniquely powerful sound and beats of Shinhwa grab the listener's attention, and it narrates the 10-year friendship and neverending story between the 6 men.

Eric, who wrote the rap lyrics for 2 Ma Luv, included the titles of their hits over the years in the lyrics, such as Brand New, Perfect Man, Only One, Hey Come On, giving the song an interesting twist.

Shinhwa expressed, "It's already our 9th album, and it's a whole new feeling. Just like our 10th anniversary, this is something that means a lot to us. This year will be an unforgettable year for all the members.

In addition, the Daum portal is holding a "My Love Shinhwa" search draw, and also using Shinhwa as the theme in its Daum TVpot Shinhwa talent search, amidst other promotions in its Shinhwa 10th Anniversary Festival. Anyone who searches for '@신화10주년' ('@Shinhwa 10th anniversary) can stand to win Shinhwa collectibles and an autographed copy of the 9th official album.
