"Solbi is a straightforward friend who's not pretentious"
In the popular segment "We're Married" on MBC's Sunday Sunday Night, Andy and Solbi play a newlywed couple, and have shown good chemistry so far. Andy says that Solbi "has a straightforward charm".
Andy says, "I think Solbi's a friend who is straightforward who's not pretentious. When we have activities together I can always see her putting a lot of effort into her work, and she doesn't put up a front at all. She makes people feel comfortable around her."
When Andy appeared on MBC's Golden Fishery earlier, he mentioned that his ideal girl would be Kim Tae Hee, but he did mention Solbi as well.
Andy and Solbi's pairing has garnered high ratings during their segment on "We're Married", adorable and romantic scenes such as feeding each other jajangmyeon, and Andy braving the rain to get coffee for Solbi, has the audience glued to their screens.
Andy continues, "What's important is that Solbi doesn't harbour any enmity towards anyone, as her sonbae I see her as a role model and a true friend that I can learn from."
Andy has recently gained much popularity with his solo debut track Love Song, and now the success with "We're Married" has cemented his position not just as a Shinhwa member but as a solo artiste as well.
Ending off, Andy says "As her sonbae I hope Solbi will not lose her straightforward nature, and I hope that she'll be able to have everyone's love and support. Everyone, please support Solbi who tries her best in everything she does."
