[08.09.03][news] Junjin will prepare a trot segment for his concert

"It's that feeling - when you're outside, you'll miss home; but when you're at home, you'll want to go out."

Infinity Challenge member 'Junstin', one of the MCs on YSMM Season 2 and a family member on Family Outing - Junjin has been very active on variety shows lately. Also a member of the longest-running idol group Shinhwa, the new star of the variety world will be holding his first solo concert in Korea on 5/6 Sept at Melon-AX Hall.

He said in an interview, "My main occupation is still a singer, so being onstage is only natural. I will present my best performances for everyone who endearingly calls me Junstin Jinberlake."

"This is my first solo concert in Korea since I started my solo activities, but since I already had a solo concert in April in Japan, I'm not particularly nervous. Instead it will be a great boost for me."

Although he has been busy with his appearances on various variety shows, he doesn't let up on his practice for the concert at all, putting in his best efforts for his singing and dance practice in Shinhwa's dance studio in Sadang-dong.

"I hope to show my masculine, powerful side, and I will have a segment where I will share with the fans things I've never told them before. I've prepared a trot song too, do watch out for that."

All other Shinhwa members, except Andy, will be guesting at the concert. Eric, who has just concluded his drama filming, intended to prepare for his enlistment, but decided to make an appearance to support Junjin.

"Hyesungie hyung may not be able to come depending on his schedule, but Dongwannie hyung and Minwoo hyung have all said that they will turn up and sing for me."

Junjin is known for being a perfectionist when it comes to his work, he would lose sleep even if there's just a 1% imperfection. His management company has also said that he will make sure he prepares to the best of his abilities for the concert. His competitive streak is already strong to begin with, and this time round he says he will show the audience his most masculine and toughest side ever.

"In the past I just did my best on shows, without knowing why I had to do it. But now I know exactly why, and what I need to do, that's why I'm really glad and find it more meaningful now."

"To me, acting and singing are just as important. During my stints on IC and YSMM, I've learnt a lot from Jaesuk hyung and Hodong hyung."

"Although my schedule is so packed I barely have time for sleep, but being able to learn from these great people makes me feel very happy. I know if I improve in the things that I do, the fans will see an even better side of me."

He said that he feels that actor Cha Seung Won is someone he really respects, for his masculine, tough, yet humourous image. "I'd like to be someone like Cha Seung Won."
