Shinhwa member Junjin, currently serving his military duties as a public service officer, has been assailed with a barrage of rumors of him being in a romantic relationship.
On the morning of 3 November, news media carried stories of Junjin being involved in a romantic relationship with someone not from showbiz.
A source close to Junjin told Newsen on 3 November, “There is a lady that he is attracted to, but it’s not true that he’s in a romantic relationship now. I’ve checked with Junjin himself and he has confirmed that. He was introduced to this lady by a mutual friend and though there is attraction between them, they are not in a relationship.”
Meanwhile a rep from Junjin’s management agency Open World Entertainment has also said, “It’s not true that he’s in a romantic relationship. We’ve checked with Junjin and he has confirmed that it’s not true. We’re not sure where this rumor originated from, but it’s just a rumor.”
Junjin enlisted for military duty on 22 October 2009 and has since then been deployed to serve as a public service officer.
