“To ensure that it will trend, it’s best not to share the trending topic on Twitter prior to the trending time. Twitter measures the TT at the time it first appears, so there can’t be scattered tweets with that hashtag prior to that. We can promote the TT by just tweeting the link to this blog post. There has to be three top tweets. It’s the number of accounts tweeting and not the number of tweets.”
