Singer/actor Eric has started working on his swimming as soon as he was discharged from military service.
On 2 Nov, Eric’s rep told Star News, “While Eric has been resting after his discharge from military service, he has been going to the swimming pool very often. This is in preparation for ‘Poseidon’, his first drama since his return from military service.”
He added, “Eric is a good swimmer to start with, but because his role in ‘Poseidon’ requires him to be a really strong swimmer, that’s why he has taken a renewed interest in swimming and diving.”
Eric has only recently confirmed his participation in ‘Poseidon’, which tells the stories of Coast Guard officers dedicated to saving lives. Eric plays the role of Kim Seon Woo, a cheerful and tough coast guard officer who rises up the ranks to become part of the coast guard commando team. Besides Eric, the cast of ‘Poseidon’ also includes U-Know Yunho, Kim Kang Woo, Kim Ok Bin, Jeon Hye Bin among others. The drama is scheduled for broadcast in the first half of 2011, but it has not been confirmed which station it will be broadcast on. (All 3 stations must be fighting for it!!)
Eric has been serving as a public service officer at the Sports Complex subway station for the last 2 years and was recently discharged from military service on 30 October.
