Kim Ga Young, who recently made her foray into showbiz by signing with Eric’s management company, Top Class Entertainment, will make her official acting debut in the drama ‘Poseidon’. ‘Poseidon’ is tentatively scheduled for broadcast in the first half of 2011 on SBS.
Top Class Entertainment told this paper on 2 Nov, “Kim Ga Young will be making her acting debut in Poseidon.”
‘Poseidon’ stars Eric (Mun Jung Hyuk), Kim Kang Woo, U-Know Yunho and Kim Ok Bin among others, and the drama has received much attention for its star-studded cast.
Kim Ga Young in particular, being from Eric’s management company, will now be making her acting debut alongside Eric himself.
Kim Ga Young expressed through her management company, “I’m honoured to be making my debut alongside these seniors whom I hold in high esteem. Although I’m also very pressured at the same time, I want to develop myself by working hard to learn from these actors who have been recognized for their acting.”
Kim Ga Young gained fame after appearing in the Viewers’ Tour special of KBS 2TV’s “1 Night 2 Days” in 2009 and earned herself the nickname of “Korean traditional music’s Kim Yuna” for her resemblance to the figure skater.
