In response to recent news that MC Yoo Jae Suk will be the commentator for the Olympics women's handball competition, Infinity Challenge PD Kim Tae Ho said that the commentator namelist has not been finalized yet
On 31 July over a phone interview with Newsen, PD Kim said "Yoo Jae Suk has not been confirmed as the commentator. Starting from this week, all the Infinity Challenge MCs, including Junjin, will be tested under strict guidelines to assess if they meet the criteria."
He also added that the production team will film the assessment process, and that only half of the team will be on the Beijing Olympics commentary team. "As for the trip to Beijing, if we cannot finalize the details, the trip will not happen."
The biggest problem facing the team and crew now is that the Olympic Special with the commentator challenge will not be shown 'live', as the next 2episodes may be pre-empted due to the broadcast of the Olympic Games.
If this is the case, the actual recording done in Beijing can only be shown on 23 August. The worst possible situation is that the Olympic Special can only be shown after the Olympics.
