The upcoming 18 August episode on MBC's Come To Play features the "Comeback of the Kings" special, and members from the pioneer idol groups of the late 90s/2000s make their appearances on this special episode.
On 13 August, at the recording for the show at MBC's Dream Center at Ilsan, H.O.T's Moon Hee Jun, Sechs Kies' Eun Jiwon, S.E.S' Eugene, Fin.K.L's Ok Ju Hyun, G.O.D's Son Ho Young and Shinhwa's Kim Dongwan were all present to share their stories for the theme "Back Then".
From the late 1990s to the early 2000s, these idol groups shared some of the most intense rivalry in the music industry. A decade later, members sat in the same studio to tell of interesting anecdotes of their lives as idol group members, their debuts and things they weren't allowed to do.
Particularly in the Golbang (alcove) Talk segment, we see the guests teaching the dance steps to their hits; talking about moments they wanted to leave their groups; how they try to outshine their own members; and how rivalry between groups got so intense that they almost fought.
