In 2010
I will indulge in unfounded optimism
With the foolish and simple thought that ‘it will be fine’
I will stop doing superficial things like using alcohol to forget sadness and pain.
Keep toiling hard until something worth celebrating comes along,
And then enjoy it with a celebratory drink.
