Lee Minwoo shared some interesting tidbits about his relationship with Amy on the 12th Feb episode of KBS2’s Song Battle.
When MC Kim Sung Eun asked him, “Are you really a man that can’t be trusted?”, in relation to his song “Don’t Trust Men”, Lee Minwoo cheekily replied, “You can trust me, I’m a good man.”
In addition, Lee Minwoo said that he used to often receive chocolates from girls on Valentine’s Day, and when MC Hyun Young asked “Boom Joonpyo” if that was the case for him, he replied much to everyone’s amusement, “It’s ok if I don’t, I can buy them.”
When the topic of the Lee Minwoo’s and girlfriend Amy’s affectionate terms for each other, Hyun Young asked if they really address each other as ‘baby’. To that Lee Minwoo said, “I usually just go ‘Ya’, and Amy only calls me ‘baby’ if she’s in a good mood. If not, she’d either call me ‘Ya, Lee Minwoo!’, Minbong etc.”
Kim Sung Eun then pressed him for his favorite out of all the terms, and he said that he likes people to call him Minbong.
On this episode, Lee Minwoo displayed his singing skills and even performed a sexy dance, and was eventually crowned as the King of Songs with his rendition of the trot classic “That Man From Shinsadong”.
