Shin Hyesung’s latest album, Vol.3 Side 2 “Keep Leaves” has received a resounding response from netizens upon its release on 17th Feb.
Presales had already begun on 3rd Feb, and had already topped presale charts in Korea and Japan, affirming his status as a Hallyu star.
The title track, ‘Why Did You Call’, tells of a sad love story where a man receives a phone call from his ex-girlfriend whom he still misses, and is a ballad that men who have experienced heartbreak can relate to. The ununusual structure and dramatic nature of the song adds to its charm. When it was released online last week, it had already received much attention on sites such as Melon, Mnet, Dosirak and Muse.
The MV which was also released beforehand, received more than 20,000 views on a Internet community site.
Shin Hyesung will commence his promotional activities with a comeback stage on 19th Feb on Mnet M Countdown, followed by performances on KBS Music Bank and SBS Inkigayo on 20th Feb and 22nd Feb respectively.
