Shinhwa’s Eric, who is now serving his military duty, held a 90-minute video screening event for fans in Japan on Valentine’s Day.
Previously unreleased videos, including those of him in his daily life were shown. In particular, the video of Eric getting his head shaved before reporting for military service had the fans glued to the screen. The event was held on Valentine’s Day, two days before Eric’s birthday, and fans filled up the event venue.
In a phone call with Eric’s management companyon 17th Feb, they said, “About 1,000 fans were present at the event, but Eric could not be present due to his military obligations. The event is for the fans who aren’t able to see Eric while he’s in military service, and though he couldn’t be there, he has asked the company to convey his gratitude to the fans.”
Eric is currently serving as a public service officer at the Sports Complex Station (Line 2) of Seoul Metro after enlisting in October last year.
