Andy impressed the MCs with his clean and neat home on the 13th Feb episode of MBC’s Let’s Sleep Here Tonight. Talking about his role as a rapper in Shinhwa, he said, “Eric and I are the rappers in Shinhwa, so we never had the chance to sing. But even during Shinhwa activities, I had already dreamed of having a solo career.” He even performed a little of his trademark “heart” dance.
Andy also shared an experience where he only had a 2-second part in their debut song.
“Just before our debut, the song was ready but it didn’t have any rap parts in it. A few days later a 2-second part was added for me and Eric. At that time Mr Lee Soo Man still told us that the song was perfect for us, and the both of us were so hurt. Although we weren’t old enough to drink yet, but we snuck into a closet and drank because we were so sad.”
