After a successful entry into the fashion industry, Lee Minwoo is now entering the F&B industry with a new bar in Gangnam.
Shinhwa’s Lee Minwoo has recently opened a new bar in Cheongdam-dong called ‘개판’ (Gaepan, pronounced as ‘gae-pahn’ – which could mean ‘revised edition’; or ‘confusion, mess, disorder’ – I have no idea which meaning it’s supposed to take… Maybe it’s both ). A staff member said, “Lee Minwoo has always wanted to open a place for his friends and staff member to gather and have fun, so he recently set up this bar in Cheongdam-dong called ‘Gaepan’.”
Lee Minwoo is one of the many entertainers who have other side businesses. While keeping himself busy with his solo activities, he has also set up a management agency, MRIZING, to manage his own career. Through MRIZING, Lee Minwoo has produced his own albums and is in the process of grooming new talent. He soon followed up with a new venture into the fashion industry, and earned himself a reputation for being a successful entrepreneur. Wolf M, the brand of caps that Lee Minwoo has started up, has been in the spotlight for its high sales volume. Lee Minwoo now adds on the new bar to his list of achievements as an entrepreneur.
The staff member added, “As this is his first time running a bar, when he doesn’t have any work lined up during the weekends, he would come in and personally help with running operations. With his astute business sense, he hopes for another success after his management agency and his fashion label.”
