[09.06.13] Junjin reaches Taiwan, says he misses the fans’ screaming

Junjin – member of Korean idol group Shinhwa – arrived in Taiwan in the evening yesterday, and will be holding a concert later today at Hsinchuang Gymnasium. Junjin said that coming back to Taiwan after 9 years, what he misses most is the passion of the fans, as well as their loud screams.

Originally scheduled to arrive in Taipei in time for a 4pm press conference, Junjin missed his flight as he met with a fender bender on his way to the airport. Fortunately no one was injured. Thus he had to take a later flight and reached Taipei only at 7pm.

Upon reaching Taiwan, Junjin rushed to the press event, which was postponed to start at night instead. He even obliged the fans’ request to perform a short dance.

Visiting Taiwan after such a long time, Junjin greeted the fans in Mandarin with “你好,我是前進” (Ni hao, wo shi Qian Jin / Hi, I’m Junjin), prompting surprised and excited screams from the fans. Junjin said that it’s been a long time since he has been to Taiwan, and he misses the passion and the screams from the Taiwanese fans the most. He added that he was really moved to see so many fans still continuing to support him.

With regards to the accident earlier in the day, Junjin said that it was only a minor collision and will not affect the concert in any way, and asked the fans not to worry. He also mentioned that being the last concert in Taiwan before he enlists for military service, it will be presented in the style of a carnival.

When the media asked about his love life, Junjin said that many of his friends are happily in love, and he himself wants a relationship too. He asked for the blessings and support of the fans when he does find himself a girlfriend someday.
