Fan recaps summary: Eric’s special screening ‘THE LAST’ in Tokyo

The videos

The behind-the-scene videos didn’t have subtitles and were shown more like a ‘No Cut Story’, but it was still interesting because it shows him playing around with the other actors and also the members. Dongwan was the guest star of the day because he had quite a bit of screen time LOL

- the ‘Super Rookie’ filmsite (he was hugging Oh Ji Ho in that vid)
- the ‘Dong Hwa’ filmsite
- the Coca-Cola CF
- the ‘Diary of June’ filmsite, press conference and also the movie premiere where Jin, Minwoo and Dongwan turned up
- the Baeksang Art Awards, Dongwan was there too
- the fanmeeting he had in Japan when ‘Super Rookie’ was aired, the guest was Hyesung
- the press conference for ‘Wolf’ and ‘Que Sera Sera’
- the fansigning session for AnyCall
- the SPAM launch party, Dongwan was there… Again! LOLOL

The video messages from the members (excluding Minwoo)

- Andy was at the filmsite for ‘Two Wives’ and mentioned that he’s working very hard on his 2nd album
- Jin announced that Eric put on weight and looks very adorable, and said some congratulatory wishes
- Dongwan was wearing a white tee and a cap that showed his short fringe, and didn’t have make-up on. He spoke in a mix of Korean and Japanese, a little nervous but apparently still looking VERY cute =)
- Hyesung said he went fishing with Eric and according to him, the atmosphere wasn’t great. UH HUH… LOL Hyesung is so embarrassing…. ㅋㅋㅋ

Eric’s apartment

Then the video showing Eric’s apartment, which was very neat
It was the kitchen after walking straight in from the entrance
He doesn’t cook but his refrigerator is fully stocked thanks to his mom – it was stuffed with lots of food – eggs, vegetables, basically lots of protein

Then the living room where there were the 9th album and the White Edition, and NBA DVDs
There was a tree that was directly painted onto the wall, but according to one recap it looked like it was wilting – HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA I sure hope he didn’t paint it himself!
And there was a cupboard full of caps too. Unfortunately his bedroom was off-limits… BUT WHY~~~~~~~

After that they moved on to Eric’s studio where Eric was – the room had music equipment and also some exercise equipment, somewhat messy apparently…

The interview

He said he did put on weight, and he weighs over 85kg now. He wanted to hit 100kg but everyone told him that it’s not too good for his health, so he has been watching his diet and exercising these days. (100kg! LOLOL that weirdo…) His meals these days consist primarily of grilled chicken breast meat, vegetables and more of protein. He said he should be able to shed the weight within 3 months if he watches his diet and exercises regularly. Moreover he has a crewcut now so his face looks round… according to one recap he looked like a high school kid

During his training at Nonsan, he noted down in his notebook everything he wanted to eat after he completed his training – one food item per day he was there… THAT EXPLAINS THE WEIGHT GAIN! LMAO

Then he said he’s been listening to Minwoo’s songs recently. He went to play at the studio where Minwoo was recording and asked for his demo tape to listen to – YES WE KNOW! You’re the troublesome fellow! LOLOL

He said that it’s pretty good, as did the other members. Though it’s a pity he couldn’t be part of the album, but he’s very glad to see such great music being made.

Then yes… going fishing with Hyesung and catching some pretty big fish, and he had photos to show – although the interviewer kind of doubted him, he insisted that he took those photos. He said it must have been Hyesung’s first time fishing, because he was so happy just after catching only 20 fishes – HEHEHEHEHHEHEH *ouch*

About his work, Eric said he was pretty worried before he started work, but his younger colleagues helped him out a lot and he got used to it eventually. He’s even planning to take a trip to one of the islands with his colleagues and friends.

Work at Seoul Metro is pretty irregular, in the day there might be problems and emergencies, and at night there are many things to do as well, so he doesn’t really have time to go drinking. But if the other members have time, he would call them up.

Then he showed the presents he received from the fans who sent them to his office, and he also demonstrated how to bait a hook… He said he hasn’t tried lure fishing before, but he wants to try it the next time – I think Eric fans all need a copy of Fishing For Beginners

And he laughed and said not to pass him gifts when he’s on duty…

Q&A With His Manager

Q: Who stocks up his refrigerator?
A: Eric’s mom will bring food over when it’s empty

Q: When will Eric come to Japan for activities after he is discharged?
A: There are no dates, but he will definitely be coming to Japan

Q: Will he take part in movies and dramas after military service?
A: Before the Shinhwa members all finish with their military service, he should be doing a movie or a drama

Q: Which member does he meet most often?
A: He has been going to Minwoo’s recording studio and he went fishing with Hyesung

Ok this bit is funny – LOLOL LEE SAJANGNIM!!!! The fans must have been hitting on him a lot…

A: Me? (and everyone cracks up)

A: He said he weighs 85kg, but he’s about 78kg now
