[08.10.15][news] Andy busies himself with fanmeetings in China and Japan

Shinhwa member Andy (27) is filled with passion for meeting his fans, no matter wherever it takes him to.

After releasing his first solo album at the beginning of the year, Andy has gone on to hold his first solo concert and also achieved success in musicals. For the last quarter of the year, Andy's schedule remains packed, with fanmeetings in Qingdao, China in November and in Tokyo and Osaka in December to round up a busy 2008.

For the fanmeeting to be held in Qingdao on 29th Nov - ANDY in QingDao 2008 For My Sweeties - the organizer has received enquiries not only from China, but from Hongkong and Taiwan even before tickets have gone on sale.

The organizer said, "As it is, Andy is already enjoying great popularity among the Chinese-speaking communities. Furthermore, Qingdao residents can view Korean programmes via satellite, his popularity is also considerable in this city."

After his fanmeeting in Wuhan in Feb this year and a concert in Shanghai in April, Andy will travel to China for the 3rd time as a solo artiste to interact with more than 2,000 fans on a special date.

In addition, his official fanclub in Japan has started their recruitment drive since 1st October, which also kickstarts his activities in Japan. To celebrate the inauguration of the fanclub, ANDY 2008 Christmas Special will be held on 22 Dec in Nagano, Tokyo and on 23 Dec in Osaka.

After spending Christmas in 2007 with Japanese fans, Andy will do the same this year with more than 4,000 Japanese fans.

Andy is currently in the midst of preparing for the musical Singles, which starts its run on 13 Nov. Before that, he will also travel to Singapore for a concert organized jointly by SBS and Singapore Tourism Board, Korean Pop Night 2008 on 4 Nov.
