‘Working hard for future developments at eSports’

Shin Hye Sung has also displayed his gaming skills through a friendly competition with Jue Kyung Jung at the opening of MBC GAME LOOX HERO, surprising the audience with his hidden potential. Shin Hye Sung has also wowed many eSports enthusiasts with his superb gaming skills.
Shin Hye Sung came for the opening tournament. He formed a team with V.O.S member Park Ji Hun, and played against Kim Hyung In, Kim Che Yuk at Hunters. Shin Hye Sung was unable to withstand the opponent’s attack and his defense was destroyed, thus letting him have a taste of bad luck in gaming.

‘I played very badly in the first round, it was such a waste. If only I could withstand the opponent’s teamed attacks I could have won. And I’m ashamed to be eliminated.’
Shin Hye Sung does not lose out to the professionals in terms of competitiveness. He says no matter if he is playing competitively or for friendly rivalry, he will do his best to win and this is how he usually manages to turn the situation around.
‘Not long ago at MBC GAME HERO I played with other contestants. My opponents were Director He Tae Gi and Ju Kyung Jung, and I teamed with Min Chan Gi. In Hunters, we obtained a huge advantage right from the beginning, and we emerged victorious dramatically. It is a waste that it was not broadcasted because to me, that was the best competition.’
Having heard that, we would want to watch that competition even more. Min Chan Gi who was standing at a corner also agreed that was the best tournament. We do know Shin Hye Sung does have gaming skills above average, but to play with professionals for leisure does shock everyone.
‘I usually play with the MBC GAME HERO contestants, but director will always ask to place bets. This is interesting but at the start I am at a disadvantage. He Tae Gi director! Please don’t place anymore bets!’
Because of the appearance at the LOOX HERO CENTER, Shin Hye Sung got closer to the MBC GAME GERO contestants and is recently practicing a new gaming technique with them.
‘I only play Starcraft. FPS gives me a headache. I am one who only loves Starcraft.’
The second round of competition Shin Hye Sung teamed with KTF Park Jung Ji, up against Kang Min and Kim Suh Hyung. Shin Hye Sung’s creature in the game (Zergling) looked like all ready just like a professional, with the its positioning complemented by its army strength it was fantastic. Shin Hye Sung and Park Jung Ji eventually won this round.
‘It was probably luck. If brother Suh Hyung was able to turn his army power around, we might not have won.’
Although he claims it is luck, many people who watched the game were impressed with his Zergling. When Kang Min tried to get rid of Park Jung Ji’s Dragoon, Zergling’s entrance saved the day.
‘Having seen the mini-map I realized Park Jung Ji’s Dragoon was in distress. While building Sunken for defense, I let Zergling into the battlefield, stalling the army to let Dragoon attack.’
It was Zergling’s credit that led them to their win Shin Hye Sung enjoyed the victorious moment. After attributing their win to luck, Shin Hye Sung said his interest for Starcraft will never fade.
