MBC's We Got Married has used the concept of simulating married life, and through this we rediscover other sides of the celebrities appearing on the show.
The celebrities who appear on We Got Married all already have their own images that they built up over years, and among them there are celebrities who have quite a sizable anti-fanbase or who are the victims of some rather unfavorable opinions.
However, the show has allowed these celebrities to show a more approachable side of themselves.
Among these 'victims', the Andy-Solbi pairing is probably one of the more notable ones. As a member of the longest running group in Korea, Andy has somewhat paled in comparison to the rest of his groupmates in terms of solo activities. However, We Got Married has propelled him to become a popular wanso nam (*a really good guy that should be treasured) recently.
Different from his usual image as the "adorable baby of Shinhwa", the viewers can see him taking care of Solbi, cooking, taking care of household matters and being very courteous to his seniors. This image of "a reliable young man with the right values" is getting extremely popular with viewers.
