That was Junjin’s response when being asked about his WGM ‘wife’ Lee Shi Young.
After the Junjin/Lee Shi Young couple made their debut appearance on the Seollal special of WGM, they have garnered so much interest from media and viewers alike that they have been confirmed as a regular couple on the variety show. During that episode, Junjin was often left flustered by Lee Shi Young’s quirky and unexpected actions.
“These days the popularity of my ‘girlfriend’ is just scary. Although some people said that Lee Shi Young’s behaviour is just to create effects for the show, but she really does have a personality like that.”
He added, “I really get caught off guard by her unpredictable words and actions, but that’s what makes the whole thing naturally interesting.”
According to Junjin, Lee Shi Young’s impressive model toy collection on the show has earned her quite a bit of popularity among model toy enthusiasts.
The filming location used for their segment is Lee Shi Young’s actual home. Junjin said, “We’re able to proceed with filming at her home after getting permission from her parents.”
