Shin Hyesung will be releasing his new album, Vol.3 Side 2 KEEP LEAVES on 17th February. However, before the album release, the title track ‘Why Did You Call…’ will be unveiled at major online music portals such Melon, Mnet, Dosirak and Muze, on 12th February.
Album presales, which started on 3rd February, has already reached #1 on Korea’s biggest music site Hottracks, as well as Synnara, Interpark and Japan’s HMV chart. This ballad album comes 6 months after his Side 1 album released on 26th August, which experimented with genres such as Brit rock. The title track for Side 2 is a little different from his previous ballads, being a little more dramatic and features more powerful vocals from Shin Hyesung.
On Feb 12th, besides the release of the title track, the MV - which features actress Lee Young Ah and took a week in Sapporo to film - will also be made available on Naver’s Shin Hyesung Special Search Page for online viewing.
Shin Hyesung expressed, “As this is the first time I’m releasing the title track before releasing the album, I’m a little more nervous than usual. Since this album contains ballads which are well liked by the fans, I hope the album will receive more love and support.”
