[08.06.01][News]50 participants in the Asia Song, 'who should sing solo?'

“Who should sing the solo parts?’

In order to help Asian victims who are affected by the natural disasters, Park Jin Young has embarked on the “I Love Asia” project to produce a charity album, and he has landed in a predicament.

With the overwhelming support of many stars, it is difficult to choose singers to do the solo portions and up to date, there are over 50 stars involved in this project. The first recording on 29th, 30 stars including Kim Yoo Na and the Wonder girls, Kim Ah Joong, Yu Song Ho, Han Hye Jin, Wheesung, Battle, Park Young Ha, Jo Song Mo, Chae Yeon, Brown Eyed Girls, Kim Dong Wan, Gan Mi Yeon, Hong Rok Ki, Goo Chun Ye, Alex, Horan, Jeon Hye Bin and Jacky Chan who initiated this project have all come together in a studio in Gangnam .

The second recording is on 5 June which is headed by Lee Seo Jin-Kim Eon Jin, Hwang Jeong Min couple, includes singers who were not able to make it for the first recording like Shin Hye Sung, Lyn and some other 20 singers.

If a singer takes about 8 phrases for solo, only 20 soloists are needed.

But to choose 20 out of the 50 will not be an easy task.

Park Jin Young has started recordings in the studio from 29th.

Although the recordings will only end in mid-June, whose voice will be heard cannot be said for sure.

Jacky Chan tries to emulate the American popstars’ ‘We are the World’ and proposes to JYP to come up with a charity single to aid mainly the Sizhuan victims as well as other people who are affected by the recent natural disasters. This proposal then led to the gathering of the stars.

Within 10 days of the proposal, the first recording has already been done. Although most of the participants were contacted at the last minute, everyone was willing to make time for this meaningful event.
This album will be recorded digitally, and it includes the recording process, the actual situation in China etc and will be made available in Asia.
