[08.12.11][news] Lee Min Woo, "What...hip hop music?"

Singer Lee Min Woo (M) with the song "Cool Life" is hitting the music industry with a breath of fresh air. With "mixing" hip hop music, he has recently introduced the fusion genre to the music industry.

"Grandmas, grandpas, joyfully, joyfully, spring up to dance. Friends, mothers, fathers shake it, shake it with hands in the air! The watching children too. "Eusha eusha," they happily go! It's different, just different. Let's all play together!" (Lyrics from "Cool Life")

The Lee Min Woo that we saw who overflowed with coolness has changed. The sophisticated "bad guy" image from "Don't Trust Men" is gone.

On the 5th, Lee Min Woo used country dialect and dance to go along with it on KBS' Music Bank. The attention of the audience was focused on him who sang "eolssu, eogieoeocha" while smiling seeing the transformation from his prior song.

It's been 10 years since Shinhwa debuted. It's remarkable to see him change as an artist as his solo career started 5 years ago. After the performance, an agent shared that from M's 4th jib "M Rizing", "Cool Life" was the song among the 12 that displayed the most diversity in his music.

The agent explained, "It's a bit insufficent to call it hip hop music. It is something new. Fusion of hip hop with shuffle rhythm."

To the question of if this kind of music is unprecedented. Lee Min Woo answered, "There has been songs in the similar music genre that came into the music industry with a bit of a different emphasis. In Jewlery's 4th album "Super Star" and "One More Time". Seeing these songs, he was able to expand the variety of his music in his current album.

Lee Min Woo said, "The song that fans enjoyed the most "Cool Life". Explaining this reason for picking this song. He continued, "A melody that makes you move along with his vocals makes a good combination. Bringing forth a song that is unique and fresh."

The 4th jib could be described as "Variety Gift Set" as Lee Min Woo has Wonder Girls' Yoo Bin, Son Dam Bi and Mighty Mouth displaying a wide spectrum of music in the album.

Lee Min Woo will be leaving for this upcoming concerts on 17th and 18th in Tokyo. Until he starts his military service, he intends to do his utmost in all his activities including his concerts in Korea.
