Shinhwa group receieved the Golden Disk Bonsang award 2008.
On the 10th noon, Shinhwa won the DISK Bonsang award with honor with their 9th album at 2008 Golden Disk award ceremony held at Seoul Bangi Dong Olympic Park Olympic Hall.
As a result, after 2 years from their release of “State of the Art” in 2006, once again Shinhwa was awarded the Bonsang award under the DISK segment.
Shinhwa member Junjin said his speech, “In the future, we will be welcoming our 15th anniversary or even the 20th anniversary of a longevity group.”
On the day of award ceremony, other than Kim Dongwan and Eric who is under military service, Shinhwa members, Shin Hyesung, Junjin and Lee Minwoo had appeared.
Shinhwa releases their new album on April after two years, and with “RUN” as their title song, the album was well-received by the big range of fans.
This year, the 23rd Golden Disk uses the songs this year as the basis and select the Daesang and Bonsang winners (DISK segment 6 winners, Digital segment 4 winners), new comer award, popularity award etc a total of 23 award in over 10 segments.
