[08.12.10][News] 2008's Most Popular Internet Figures [feat JunJin]

Community portal sites DC Inside announced the results of the survey regarding 2008's Internet leading figures.

With 1504 votes out of 5077 (29.6%), skater Kim Yun-a won the first place. Kim was the first Korean skater to win the International Skating Union (ISU) sponsored championship. She has also won many Grand Prix series, and been recently the most popular sports star. A high-tech netizen produced a video parody of her practice and soon became a hit.

No.2 went to popular singer JunJin with 691 votes (13.6%). Last May, the singer released the album's title song "WA" and forwarded with a chain of solo activities. His unique hairstyles, exceptional costumes reminded pop star Justin Timberlake during his "Sexy Back" period. Therefore, a number of parody works were created and increased the popularity of JunJin over the Internet and the Broadcast.

Third spot belonged to '장기하와 얼굴들', an Indie band, with 667 votes (13.1%). The band with unique title and songs lyrics has been moon rising, becoming the inspiration for various parodies, as for their "level of 4-D".
