Kim Jong Kook, fresh out of the army, met with Kim Dongwan who's soon to enlist for military service, for the recording of the 11th Nov episode of KBS2's Sang Sang Plus Season 2, and shared his experiences about army life.
Kim Dongwan said, "I'm most worried about communal life with the other soldiers". He was worried if he could get along with the seniors, many of whom are younger than him.
To this, Kim Jong Kook said, "Once you're in the army, only rank, and not age, that matters. The sergeants are as dependable as our own uncles." And in response to Kim Dongwan's concern about his hyperactive personality, he said, "Once you get there, you'll unknowingly learn how to stay still, you don't have to worry too much about that."
And when asked if he was made to sing a lot, Kim Jong Kook said, "In the solemn atmosphere during training, no one is allowed to sing, and there are simply too many military songs to learn, there won't be time for you to sing other songs."
This episode, featuring Kim Jong Kook, Kim Dongwan and Junjin, will be aired at 11.05pm on 11th Nov.
