Having taken the top spot on the sales charts within the album’s first week of release, Lee Minwoo postponed his first comeback performance to ensure a splendid performance with practice sessions of more than 10 hours per day. Lee Minwoo went back on stage with a burst of explosive energy accumulated during the past 5 months, and dressed in vivid fluorescent colors, he put up a powerful performance together with a group of male dancers.
Not only did the audience see Lee Minwoo the singer perform various dance moves such as the “transformer”, the “M Tic Toc”, and the “antenna”, they also saw Lee Minwoo the choreographer at work.
What attracted the most attention however, was his laser beam gloves, which he used during his performance. The laser beam gloves, which is the only pair in Korea, emits 4 laser beams and cost 1.5 million won (approx USD1,190). Including the gloves and the stage costumes for himself and the dancers, the total bill for Lee Minwoo’s comeback stage comes up to nearly 10 million won (approx USD7,900).
After the performance Lee Minwoo said, “Because it’s the first comeback stage in such a long time, I was really very nervous. But I’m glad to have enjoyed the performance and completed it well, I felt like I was flying on stage.”
Lee Minwoo’s most faithful long-time supporters – the Shinhwa members – all caught the performance on TV, and with this, Lee Minwoo has officially kicked off his album promotional activities.
