Shinhwa's Junjin disclosed how his nickname Double J came about on KBS2's Sang Sang Plus Season 2, which will be broadcast on 6 May.
Junjin said, "In order to present a whole new side of myself - different from Shinhwa's Junjin - to the fans, I worked very hard on my solo album", sharing the extent of his mental preparation for his solo album.
The title track on Junjin's first single album was drastically different from his usual image, and when he performed the song on stage for the first time, he had to work hard on keeping his nerves in check while emoting during the song. However the fans' screams and chants of "Park Choong Jae! Park Choong Jae!" made him even more nervous. Furthermore, Junjin said he had to work really hard to stop himself from bursting out in laughter and to continue with the song.
In order to solve this problem, the Shinhwa Changjo fans came up with a new chant for him - Double J - based on his initials JJ.
Kim Dongwan who also appeared on the show said of Junjin, "Even guys will find Junjin very handsome. His best quality is his charismatic gaze", which Junjin demonstrated on the spot.
