Handphones, a necessity in contemporary society, have now become a source of inspiration in music, movies and pop culture.
Among the new songs due to be released in February, three of them are related to phones; and the plot of the new thriller “Handphone” revolves around a lost handphone.
Suho’s title track from his new mini-album, “Missed Call”, tells of a man who waits for his ex-girlfriend’s call that never comes; while Wax’s new digital single is the female version of “Missed Call”, titled “Can’t Even Call Once”.
Shin Hyesung’s Vol.3 Side 2 album, scheduled for release on 17th Feb, features the title track “Why Did You Call…”, which is about getting a sudden call from an ex-girlfriend, and how the couple still misses each other despite having parted ways.
Shin Hyesung filmed the MV for the song in Sapporo, together with actress Lee Young Ah, and the full MV will be released on 17th Feb as well.
